[PS4] Save game never ending -> file corruption

After trying to manually save the game the save game message never stopped and the only way to continue was to hard close the application (PS button -> options -> close application) and reload. Upon reloading the save file was corrupted and I had to load an earlier version.

It happened very early on in the game in the first dungeon

What language is your system set to? We had weird issues with Turkish. This is now patched.

We have not been able to reproduce this issue.
