Catholic leader(and dynasty), but muslim empire.

Ok, i started as duke of Castiella under Asturian king. Time passed and nearby sultan conquered everything else but my Castiella. Started to fight back and duchy by duchy i managed to get hold of most of the Ibearian peninsula, but in the process muslims somehow succeeded to turn the whole peninsula to caliphate. Mu duchy turned to sheikdom and now that im emperor, my empire is also caliphate. All but few of the provinces are catholics and im in the process to convert those too.

How the hell i can change it back to christian empire(or kingdom)? All my portraits are muslim and so are the titles. It really annoys me.

If I understand you right - you should let a catholic raise your child, there is a chance they will convert.

I think i explained my situation poorly. I meant my empire is mostly catholic, including me. Only few of the provinces are muslim or heretic. All my vassals have been catholic during the game. I have no clue why its like this now. For some reason it still shows Al-Andalus caliphate (the sultanate next to me) the highest authority on the peninsula even when im mostly controlling it.

Here is my empire. Its catholic mostly, excluding few provinces i just conquered and few others which are heretic but mostly catholic. Well anyways, empires name is Isbaniyya instead of Hispania and all the provinces names are muslim empire style. In the course of the game, no one has ever conquered me. When Asturias fell in the early game, i declared independence and won the war and has been independent since. I included the (now) small nation of Al-Umayyi leader and his Malikate of Al-Andalus in the screenshots. Somehow this title is the "ruling" one on the peninsula and is affecting everything like names and titles. Like i said, Castiella started as fully catholic nation with names and provinces but shomehow this changed in the way. Now im part muslim and part christian nation.

A quick look into 00_cultures.txt suggests that's andalusian_arabic, which explains the Arabic titles and realm name. That's determined by culture in vanilla too, not religion or anything else.

Yup, that's correct. Basically don't go for an arabic-related culture if you don't want arabic-looking titles.

Also, just to make sure... you are actually running CK2+, are you?
Because the minimap and the title localisations look like you are running HIP... which would mean this is the wrong subforum.
