That certainly looks like part of the Lend/Lease interface, but the flag is new.
I would guess you will be able to LL captured equipment.

More arms deals would be awesome. What if military factories became more expensive, but you could buy equipment from other nations with civ factories?

EDIT: Given the text of the tweet though: "I almost forgot Teaser Tuesday! Enjoy an easy to figure out one for the diary tomorrow." This is probably lend lease of foreign equipment as others have said in this thread.
 
That and/or we'll finally have the ability to delete specific equipment that we don't want.
 
I'd say we can salvage captured equipment to produce our own versions at a reduced cost. Just being able to LL it isn't much of a perk.
 
I'd go with landlease captured and other foreign equipment.
 
the rifle itself is defiantly polish its their base rifle equipment. So I also believe its lendleasing captured equipment derived from the country of origin. Why that matters I don't know. Maybe just to say where they came from. Or it might hint to modifications of small arms like what we can do with tanks, planes and ships? Like increasing reliability, damage, defense capability and so on. That rifle actually derives off the german design but obviously is polish so could reinforce my theory.
 
there was something in a previous dev diary, where there was a screenshot of a division, and one of the attributes that appeared said something like "equipment capture ratio", which was new.

So, my guess is the dev diary will be about new ways to use captured equipment, new ways to capture it as well, and things of that nature.

You're right. Although I hope to get further information cause you basically described tomorrows dev diary in two sentences otherwise :D

Edit: Okay In war capture might be a nice feature but still....
 
This is definitely a new ability to LL captured equipment. Probably courtesy of that one thread that complained about excessive stockpiles of captured equipment.

I'm assuming this will also fix not being able to always LL license-produced equipment (sometimes bizarrely it works, but usually it doesn't). I'm also assuming this means lend-leased equipment will be re-lend-leasable, which creates a myriad of exploits bannable only by house rules. For example RAJ spams convoys, LLs them to ENG in '39, ENG LLs them to FRA, FRA LLs them to RAJ, rinse and repeat until RAJ is free within 2-3 months of the war breaking out. This used to be a gamey strategy people did until lend-leased convoys became un-re-lend-leasable in some patch.

Jokes aside. I dont really see a Need to Change lend lease? Sure it's a pain when you have tons of captured plains in your stockpile. But. Is there any flaw in the Lend lease System? I mean this could just be another Flavour update. So you can see directly from which Nation your captured Equipment is from.

But. Maybe we're all getting bamboozled here.

Fully agreed. If tomorrow's dev diary outlines their massive development undertaking to simply add captured equipment to the list of equipment available for LL, I will be sorely disappointed. Being able to see your allies' stockpiles and production rates (if not in faction, you still should be blind) is far more important. I don't see any reason why this information would be a secret among allies.

Been saying this for a while, it is a royal pita in single player to find out if and what your allies need in the way of LL. If they have overhauled the interface so we can see what our allies need and can LL captured equipment I will chalk that up as a big improvement.

Well one change I’d love is the ability to see the stock pile totals of allies. I never know what my ally in SP needs. I play Ironman so cant cheat.
