ok I gotta say I love the game, but I'm just a casual gamer, I admit the German Campaign is already a little too hard for me. Is there anything I can do to make it easier, some global setting etc? Or is the only option for me to just keep trying ;)

I think the German campaign is the hardest one; I finished all campaign missions on my first try except the first and last German missions. The Scottish campaign I found to be the easiest one despite being labelled as "very hard". So my recommendation is to play through the other two campaigns before you start on the German one. Hopefully you will be better by then and have an easier time with it.

Got so much trouble to take the hill 112 compare to mission of german campaign. I mostly played art, panzer and recon, it worked well.

just get used to the controlls and ranges, maybe play a few skirmishes and revisit the campaign again. no global diffiulty levels for the campaign sadly. (I would like them harder)

I went, played some multiplayer, got good at it, and found the campaigns to be fairly easy overall.

The main challenge in the british campaign is getting used to playing against axis heavy tanks and getting used to the fact that commonwealth infantry is only good within 100m, unlike AB rifles and axis infantry. The US and German campaigns give the idea that all infantry has capable LMGs but you will be disappointed when you get to the British campaign.

However, once you understand the game, the massive amount of vet the scots battlegroup comes with makes it pretty easy and the AI is bad at using heavy tanks.

Did they change the difficulty sense the game came out? I remember playing the German Campaign back then and having a blast.
It really made me push myself, learn how to maneuver a army and take chances when attacking.
Really made me feel like a WW2 commander where i didn't really have the time to learn everything about my enemy, and what they had where, before moving.
