So this seems to -only- happen when I'm playing with CK2+, but the pope seems to be a drooling moron and gives away the Papacy to the Grandmaster of the Papal Knights, causing it to be destroyed. I use a mod that is designed to fix border gore, and I use that to give it back to him. Three days later, he gives it away. Again. He has no other duchy, and yet he insists on giving it to the Papal Knights. How do i make him stop?

Wait - think again.
That behavior is really strange, and you can only fix it by using features from another mod that is not guaranteed to work together with CK2+.
...
I'm not saying it is the cause, I might well be mistaken - but can you confirm that the problem persists if you disable the other mod(s)? Because otherwise, how can you or the Plus devs be sure the problem is caused by CK2+ alone, and not by the combination of mods? Your observation that it only happens in conjunction with CK2+ is likely correct, I don't doubt that, but mods interact, and that's why I bet the combination is to blame.

Good point. Give me a few moments and I'll see if it is a conflict. I don't think it is - I never had the Pope give away the Papacy duchy before the latest patch / this beta, with those exact same handful of mods, but I'll get back to you in a moment.

Thanks for the suggestion.

@LordPeter running CK2+ by itself, I get the same exact thing happening - The Pope gives away the title, and since only the Pope can hold it, it gets auto-destroyed. Any way I can make it so that The Pope WON'T give it up for no reason?

Can you post a save?
Ideally just before he does it.
Here you go. I uploaded it in the bug report section, but I've yet to get a reply... "Unbroken Pope" is at game start. "Ruined pope" is -six days later-, and as you can see, he's given it away, desroying it.

Sorry, I meant in upload a save to the bug thread, problems generally get fixed faster/more reliably when you do. But you did that, so things should get sorted, hopefully?

I've played through both your saves and it looks like he isn't doing it for me. It looks, from your description as though it's something to do with the schism firing due to game rule though? I'd recommend deleting CK2+ from your computer and redownloading the current beta version and seeing if the error persists.

Right, I'll try that again. See what happens.

@BrokenSky
I had accidentally screwed up by setting it to be split for those saves, in an attempt to make the game mildly playable. My bad. Here is this with a fresh install of the beta, and you can see in the two of them, that within a span of a month, the Bishop of Rome has destroyed his patriarch title, by giving it to some rando vassal.

I've had problems with the pope before, in the previous version - The Carolingian emperor will randomly get a claim on the kingdom title, he'll attack to take the claim, and it gets destroyed. I'm really at a loss here.

Till this problem is fixed, I can just start with it being split, but that makes me sad - The split events are my favorite thing.
