Going to be interesting if they stick to the canon age tables.

Are there any canon age tables though? Even with humans I am not sure.

Mages could deffinetly be interesting. They tend to live longer than their brethren. It would be super cool if mage class characters could have a prolonged life due to their arcane abilities.

As Aegwyn was almost 900 years when she died (Guardian trait OP) and Antonidas was around 100 years old during the First War, it would make sense. :)

There are different lifespans, though in a few cases we had to just guess. Orcs and trolls (except the Zandalari who can go for almost double that), for instance, live about as much as humans. Dwarves and gnomes go for a few centuries, while elves can live up to a thousand. Space goa- I mean, draenei can live for as long as something doesn't kill them, while gnolls are lucky if they get past 60.

Sounds pretty neat :D Nice!

RPG isnt canon.

That said, it's pretty damn close, with a few tweaks, I'll have to dig up where we put our health mods.

I concur, however when it concerns height, weight and age tables they are supplemented by numerous observations: information gathered from the comics, books, the many existing story lines in- and outside of the game. While there is no confirmation on the ages, especially since certain lore character live well beyond the estimated ages, the tables that exist - which are evidently supplemented by non-canon RPG information - are from educated speculation and are thus a fair assumption. It's mostly right. Though I'm not here to argue whether or not it is canon, I merely figured age is an important factor in Crusader Kings and with that said am now moreso curious how this series will take their approach to it?

Do you by any chance have an aging table?

I'm not at home so this is mostly from the top of my head, but for the races on the EK map:
(Note: anyone not listed has a human-like lifespan. This may vary a bit depending on health (especially for trolls who get +1 health with their trait).)
Draenei (all types), Demons, Elementals (unplayable), Dragons, Undead: cannot die of old age.
Dwarves, Gnomes, Troggs, Kobolds: 200-250 years.
Elves: 1000-3000 years.
Zandalari Trolls: 150-200 years.
Gnolls, Murlocs: 50-70 years.

Everything is prone to change etc etc.

Sounds good. The only question that remains is if there are alternative means to kill an immortal type or if otherwise they are more prone to attract certain attention, different types of disease? Will certain types of undead be subject to rot, according to Blizzard forums they rot slower due to magical influences, embalm and are able to replace body parts with fresher ones.

Albeit I imagine longevity or otherwise immortality is subject to other downsides, such as law changes and what-not. That begs the question, will there be some form of abdicate function for the immortal races?

How many provinces would this be compared to vanilla?

I asked because Winter King is kinda slow while Warhammer mod is pretty much unplayable with my PC with graphics card
The Eastern Kingdoms have between 400 to 500 provinces, not counting sea zones. Graphic cards have nothing to do with province/character numbers affecting performance, that's down to your CPU and RAM.

How are you going to handle artifacts? Are special characters with known artifacts gonna get them by event, like Arthas gaining Frostmourne if he goes undead route(does have have a choice by the way?) and Alexandros getting Ashbringer if he chooses to participate in the war against the horde and they win? Are you going to keep the search for a smith mechanic?

These things are not mutually exclusive.

I didn't say they were, I was curious about several things which happend to correlate with the subject of artifacts.
To elaborate, then: some artifacts only come into play as either part of events or already in the possession of characters once you hit play, while others, more common ones, are acquired in various different ways, including the vanilla ck2 "councillor searches for artifact" chain.

I apologise if this was answered already but it's a rather long thread. Will Dragon aspects like Alexastraza, Ysera, Chromie and even Deathwing be playable? How will characters like Azshara be handled also? Playable or an off-map entity or invasion faction? Are there certain big lore individuals who won't be playable due to the way they work?

Chromie's not an Aspect.

Dragon Aspects will probably be playable. Emphasis on probably. Deathwing will likely see some action before the map expansion via his Lord Prestor persona, while Alexstrasza will, briefly, show up in person.

Azshara is strictly an off-map character using China mechanics.

Demons (does not include mortals who recently became demons like, say, Illidan), Elementals and Faceless are strictly unplayable.
