So this is pretty much a Q-n-A stream I hope; not a Single-Player Campaign spoilers stream then.....

I'd love to tune in and watch tomorrow, but even as much as I'm hyped to soak up more info about BATTLETECH, I'm not interested in seeing campaign spoilers in the least!

A 'combat basics' video could easily be done as a skirmish fight. One to coach cknorr, the other to play the opposition (and explain why they're doing what they're doing).

Either that, or load up a couple battles at key points and explain the hows and whys of them. There can be plenty of action along with the questions, and no need for the single player campaign at all.

They could play dozens of the generated merc missions with out spoiling any of the story at all. It would give us indepth looks at more of the systems and keep things relatively spoiler free.

While I would really like to see some PvP, I think cKnoor will be playing against the AI... in this way Jordan and Connor can both be in cKnoor's corner, alternately educating, illuminating and cheering him on to victory.

If so, I hope it is a current version of the game and that the AI puts in a good showing. : )

I'm looking forward to the stream, no matter what it will entail exactly. Need my BattleTech fix! :)

I do hope that at one point, they will show off some campaign gameplay though. Doesn't need to be story missions. Just ignore those and do some randomly-generated missions. That would be fun to watch. :)

We're not doing campaign spoilers today, I want to talk about pilot abilities, learn about proper use of weapons on mechs. How to best move my mechs, and that kind of stuff.

Grr. Literally everyone is out of the office at an 'all-employees' meeting (I'm a contractor, so was not invited), but they'll be back before the stream starts. I could have happily worked away (or taken lunch) with it in the background. Stupid time zones and daylight savings time.

@cKnoor is really impressing me on the stream. He has clearly done his BATTLETECH homework and is easily conversant on game mechanics, setting the stage very impressively for Jordan and Connor (aka @HBS_CaptKerberos) to weight in on Combat Tactics and BATTLETECH Strategies. : ) Nicely done one and all!

Good stream! The Wolverine took that beating like a champ, and that Stalker was beautiful. Looking forward to watching more of them.

Oh for the love of.... Only managed to catch the last five-ten minutes :(

How quick are these Paradox guys with YouTube uploads in general?

I really liked the Arctic Biome... what was it called in the set up screen? Still Valley?

Also... did anyone catch the AI deferring phase? I do not believe to choose to do so during the limited gameplay available.

I think it did. It did use Multi-Target decently too.

It was great to see how the game looks now, but I learned more by studying the UI than listening to the participants. While this stream is good for new players, I hope the next ones will be geared toward more experienced mechwarriors.

I think it may be beneficial to gather all the (official HBS) skirmish videos in one pinned thread for the newcomers and save the PDX stream for new information.

Did anyone catch the damage numbers from the Multi-Shot? It would be good to confirm or deny "Precision Strike" for the Stalker.

It strikes me that a Stalker MechWarrior with "Precision Strike" would be an exceptionally powerful combination.
