Less than one hour to airtime!

: )

It's the Skirmish Mechlab, and not the Campaign Mechlab. : )

Sarna does mention once the lostech stuff was lost the manufacturer was BL-6's that were downgraded and eventually made the 7 (which is pretty much the same as the downgraded 6).

BL-7-KNT
The BL-7 Black Knight is the downgraded version of the 'Mech produced during the Succession Wars following the destruction of Kong Interstellar Corporation's factories on Connaught in 2802. Production of the BL-7-KNT began in 2809 and continued until the CCAF destroyed the plant in 2820; thereafter many of the repairs made by the Great Houses to their own Black Knights in many ways mimicked Kong's version. The Endo Steel chassis was replaced with a Technicron Standard chassis which, while keeping the weapons payload and engine the same, required a reduction in overall armor protection by two tons. While the same weapon types was retained, the McCorkel, Maxell and Magna lasers were replaced with their respective Tronel III, II and I models. Kong Interstellar also replaced the communications system with the Tek BattleCom system and the targeting and tracking systems with a Tek Tru-Trak system.[9] BV (1.0) = 1,106[10], BV (2.0) = 1,443[11]

So, it appears the BL-6-KNT designation is an error on HBS's part. They showed the armor for it later, and it's 880, which is 11 tons of armor, the same amount the lostech-free BL-7-KNT carries.

I feel like the Mechbay got overlooked for lance configuration overall. :(
I think it's one of those cases, where we needed to tell the whole story of how to make a lance, and the implications with the different Mechwarriors. I would have loved to do ever more with mech customization. But at the same time we did show off the similar campaign system, and I didn't want anyone stumbling in late to assume that we were just showing off the same thing again.

It was a pretty good stream. I personally liked the merc sim one better, but this showed some good details on how the mechlab works, which should be of particular interest for those who haven't been following things as closely as most of us on the forum have been.

As I said in my variants post from way back, HBS would have a hard time putting in any 'Mech with a BAP if they were cutting the Raven for its EW equipment. The BL-6 has a BAP, the BL-7 does not.

Any chance that this will be Youtubed so I can watch it? Was out with family when it came on:(

Edit: Ok, just got info that it will be on youtube tomorrow. Danke

I marked that as a bug in the past.
