What's the ruling on half-elves and whatnot? They exist in the Warcraft universe, so what's the plan to include them, if you intend to?
I love the 'same question on two threads' method.
Very innovative.
Anyhow it will probably fall down to a gamerule setting of "allow none" meaning all pregnancies between two races will fail, "allow canon" letting half elf, half humans and such that exist in the canon warcraft universe to exist and a "Allow all" rule making all possible (but since that would be a ridiculous amount of work it would probably run down to using mothers portrait and fathers racial stat boosts or somesuch).
I do have alpha male half-elf and half orc (with draenei) portraits made (since canon people of those race combinations exist(e.g Arator and Lantresor)) but full races come before finalizing those.

Which hybrids are canon in Warcraft?

Turalyon and Alleria's son, Arator Windrunner, is a half-breed. Half-Elves are definitely cannon. Garona Halforcen is half-Draenei and half-Orc (lol).

But, uh I pray this mod releases soon... many friends and I have been simply waiting for a CK2 mod for WoW to release since ck2 came out. May the Light be with you, dev team.

Don't forget Med'an (even if we may prefer to) :p

Wasn't mentioned, but half-ogre-half-orc is another hybrid.

Aye, and that's perhaps the most common one, since there is not only one person who is half-ogre half-orc, but an entire clan.

Me'Dan is totally absent from chronicle, and Khadgar seems to have took his place as Medivh's heir, it appears that Me'Dan does not exist anymore. Unless the reverse is said with chronicles 3, which i haven't read yet because of the late of french version.

Great work on the mod, I have a few questions.
Will you be able to rebuild destroyed towns and cities?
Will there be a cleanse system for like the Plaguelands and Darkwood and other corrupted land so it can be inhabitable?
Will there be any cults that you can hunt down and if not they will be able to summon demonic creatures or plagues in secret?
Will there be Nathrezim that will corrupt and take over leaders?
Will all events like the First war, wotlk and such happen at the same year as in the lore or will they be slightly randomized?
If you lose your last province will you be able to migrate and take over someone elses province?
Will you be able to commit mass genocide like against the Dark Iron or enslave them? cause they are evil.

And could you please give us some pictures of the map like in WOTLK or in the Third War or pics of anything :D

Thank you so much for taking your time and good luck with the mod and your irl life.

In order:
As much as you can rebuild any destroyed holding in CK2
Yes, though I am not sure I'd consider the Duskwood (which is what I assume you mean by "Darkwood") particularly corrupted.
There will be secret cults like in vanilla, hunting them down can be done much like in the base game, though a few other ways will likely be added for those without M&M.
Yes.
Some will, some won't. Once you get past the WoW date don't expect things to happen near the proper dates because it's a lot of stuff and CK2 is a slower game.
Nomads can do that by default. For the rest... to be seen.
There will be no slavery mechanics, and culture changes will happen mostly like CK2. Not big on slavery and genocide and not out to fulfill any fantasies involving them.

Map pictures later.

Hello! I am not dead, sorry for my absence. Updated the first post with a few more modern clips and screenshots from the thread as well as added a large chunk of Threadmarks to take advantage of the new functionality for the forums.

Curious, will the Onslaught/Crusade be in here? Also. What about tuskarrs? Also I know Cho'gall was mentioned as the leader of the Twilight. What does that mean for Benedictus?

Also, will Malygos and the other aspects eventually be playable?

Our very first release will feature only the Eastern Kingdoms (though expect the map to expand rather quickly afterwards), so no Scarlet Onslaught or Tuskarr at first. Cho'Gall leads the 'Hammer and Benedictus is his #2 after a certain point, taking over once Cho'Gall is killed.

We couldn't figure out a way to make Dragons and Demons to be interesting to play as, so, initially, they will be unplayable. That may change later. That does not mean you can't interact with dragons, however, but I will say no more on that topic for now.

Hm. So the Onslaught won't be playable. But, will Sally Whitemane and her little cathedral be playable? Same with Balnazzar/Saidran and Isillien's little pockets of SC? Since they're in EK IIRC.
And if y'all include Sally will she have claims on Undercity perchance?

And on the topic of Benedictus, what will be the role of his church in the game? The one he led before being revealed as part of an evil cult?

Also, been reading through the thread and saw the unique character portraits thing. What characters will be getting that treatment? Major recognizable characters? Major lore characters (so stuff including ike Anduin Lothar, Terenas Menethil, Calia, Brigitte Abbendis, Malygos, etc) or fan favourites (Arthas, obviously, Uther, Sally Whitemane herself, whatever the defias brotherhood's leader's name is, the stabby stabby undead crusader)?

And another topic I saw was the broken, which made me curious. I assume at some point both Velen and Nobundo will be around. Since Velen is the leader of the exodar and stuff will Nobundo be a subordinate of him?

That's not what I said about the Onslaught: they won't be playable on release. And Onslaught is the Northrend offshoot of the crusade. They'll be playable once Northrend is added.

I'll let someone else comment on the unique character portraits since that's not my area.

Re: Nobundo. When draenei show up in Kalimdor, yes. Do note that there will be both broken and lost ones in the Eastern Kingdoms (in the Swamp of Sorrows and Blasted Lands) after the Second War.
