Okey this is too brutal

Can we agree with Happycats' presumption that the agent of the bishop is keeping at least a modicum of attention on the game, now?

Sure, but who does that really remove from contention for the identity of the agent of the Bishop? The only person who didn't vote yesterday was happycats.

That's the second convert.. The exorcist could actually be close to parity, whereas the supposed agent is what, at least three nights from victory?

Could someone into math crunch exorcist numbers?

Player list:

4. Aedan777

6. Dr.Livingstone

11. Caillean

13.BlackCrown

14. Hazbot

15. Alexu

17. brovahkiin

18. Sleepyhead

20. Castor94

9 players left.

1 is the agent of the bishop.
1 is the exorcist, with up to three living converts (though on average, he should have 0.5 converts right now)
2 are priests, at least (I suspect Battlegoon's cult is either dead, or down to one member)

The agent is likely unable to win at this point, considering that Battlegoon's cult is dead/down to a singular member, assuming a set-up of six players per cult, one person in two cults (or can the exorcist start with a convert?), one exorcist, and one agent.

He'd have to hit that singular member, which is possible, considering he has a 3/8 chance of hitting a priest now, but if the last person in Battlegoon's cult dies, or had been converted by exorcist before today, agent has officially lost, and should start considering who he'd rather win in place of himself. :p

That leaves 4 normal cultists running around, unless exorcist is lucky.

Ought to be 5 *.5 (chance of converting a cultist), if he targeted only cultists. So on average somewhere around 2.5, though likely lower.

Decent odds say he has either 1 or 0 converts, but if he has more, then we are in trouble.

Hmm... I'm guessing looking into factions to know who's closest to victory will be unfruitful, not knowing from where the converts came.

So for dead players by Cult we have-

Holders of the Book-
Priest (Battlegoon)
1st (Jeray)
2nd (Latinkaiser)
4th (Yakman)
5th (Claude)

Followers of the Eels-
2nd/1st (Alynkio) - @k-59 has both first and second written on alynkio, which is correct?
3rd (Black_griffin)
5th (Cliges)

Prophets of the Goddes (She of the singular "s")-
Priest (Arkasas)
2nd (Euro)

In addition, we have two converts (Capibara and Happycats), with no idea of their original identities. I don't think this tells us much other than that there is probably just one Holder of the Book left (unless they were turned previously) and have almost no chance of winning.

Though, with 21 players to begin with, removing the agent and the exorcist doesn't leave a number evenly divisible by three. So probably one of the cults has a 6th cultist, and the other two just have five. So maybe there is another bookie alive. So we have 0-2 bookies alive, 1-4 eelies alive, and 2-5 prophets alive. Since the game isn't over, there has to be less than five prophets actually alive. Also these numbers are without assumptions on more turned converts, of which there is a decent chance of having another. But since the agent and exorcist are still alive, we know that priests+cultists+convert (if existent) adds up to seven.

Where does this leave us? I have no idea, the convert factor prevents narrowing things down to any useful degree, and the fact most of the people who died probably weren't in contact with each other means we can't really analyze votes for any useful purpose.

how is this game going? I haven't followed it (is it even possible to really follow a DC game without knowing pms) but I'd like to see it do well
Maybe it'll get revealed post game that someone was working hard behind the scenes and they had fun, but from in the trenches right now, I can't say I feel Dark Cult is a game that should have been revived. Too random, too much confusion and obfuscation, too little to contribute as a cultist (which is the majority of the players).

@k-59 has both first and second written on alynkio, which is correct?
No comment except If the Game Moderator makes a mistake (e.g. with the vote count, hunt/scan orders) and if critical information has been revealed, the mistake will be kept.

Only one player has been subbed out, I'm counting that as a win. Other than that we should wait until after the game to comment.

Well the only way I can interpret this is that Alynkio got promoted from 2nd cultist to first cultist de facto, and by having written that in the update by mistake, K-59 revealed that the previous first cultist had been removed. Since the eels had lost neither their priest nor their original first in command previously, this means that the previous 1st cultist was converted.

This does narrow down possibilities some what, but I'm not sure enough to actually draw useful information from the list of dead players.

Vote Dr. Livingstone

Going back to killing whoever appears to be the least evil unless anyone can figure out a decent candidate based on the above discussion. Feels like throwing dart in a forest or something.

Vote Dr. Livingstone

Seems to be the best choice, as per Sleepy's logic.
