Since holy fury some shields are black

Hi!

Just tried holy fury and getting a lot of black shields, not all.
Any ideas?

I have all DLC and packs.
Have tried Steam -> Verify Integrity Of Game Files

Delete the folder Documents/Paradox/CK2/gfx/ and let the game recreate it.

I will try this tonight, so to be clear, just delete the folder and start the game or do a Verify Integrity Of Game Files between deleting the folder and starting the game?

No need to do a verify at all. These files are nothing to do with Steam.

Thought I'd report back that indeed the deletion of folder "Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\gfx" solved the problem for me.

I noticed some black shields in my game as well. I tried deleting the gfx folder and restaring the game twice. It isn't working for me. I have every DLC available on Steam with the exceptions of the ebooks and some of the music packs.

That's another issue and a bug.

U can have a temporarily fix for this issue with patrum scuta ironman mod ! I tried and it worked . You only have to start a new game !

Hasn't solved the problem for me. Do you have to start a new game for it to work?
By the way, in my case, it's just a very few shields on the holding panel (I've seen about 5, including the key castle of Holland) - not the characters' COA.
