That’s decidedly non-canon, assuming it’s a thing (My first thought was you had confused it the Summer Islands invasion, but lord knows what’s in this). Regardless, I can only argue from what I know from lore, I can’t tell you why we can’t play as the Aztecs from the start either.

The mod is not a 100% recreation of canon, there are lots of possibilities in it that do not strictly conform to the lore. The Brindlemen however have never been designed to be playable.

Aegon's conquest eventline is broken for me. It never declares war with the option you choose to conquer. Still starts war with the crownlands vassals that decide to fight you instead of submitting though. I'm on patch 3.0.1.1 and I'm not sure if you can even roll the game back to 3.0.1 from there.

Is there anywhere else to just ask questions? I know the WtWSMS mod has a quick question thread, for non bug related non large scale significance questions. I seem to recall there used to be something like that here, but I can't find it anymore.

it is normal that after around 100 years the game will just crash? I've been playing a really interesting run, but it seems the game can keep anymore and it crashes after a few months from starting

Also i believe it's from my end, but ck2 apparently doesn't load if you have the task manager open ·_·

It is no longer possible to post anything on the FAQ thread, due to being "over 2 months old." Not to mention that what I want to ask is something specific to the current patch. I also don't want to just start a thread that will get flooded out before anyone ever actually sees it for a relatively simple question that would take less than two minutes for one of the dev team or even random players to answer. I generally dislike comparing different organizational structures for mods, but with When the World Stopped Making Sense, they have a dedicated pinned thread for people to just ask simple questions and can reasonably expect answers within a day or two, barring unusual circumstances.

Instead of complaining that an ancient FAQ thread is inactive, you could have already just posted the question either on this forum, on our Citadel forums or on the reddit for the mod and had your answer.

I don't mean to sound unappreciative as I really love this mod and the speed at which it has updated, but are there any plans for a smaller update to fix the various pesky little bugs that have been mentioned here in the near future? Just want to know whether I should wait for that before starting a new game or just sit back and enjoy the Ironborn duelling themselves to death.
