PGI has posted the concept art for the Rifleman IIC...

It looks pretty good. I like the look of the standard Rifleman better, however this one looks pretty true to the original (especially with that nice, wide radar dish on it's head)… It looks like a wide brimmed hat...

I'm not a fan of the Clans, and am really not partial to the old second line mechs, but I'd like one of these just so I can name it the LEAD FARMER!

The Rifleman IIC is actually a laser boat. :p
Yeah, yet another reason I hate both the clans and the garrison mechs. If I remember correctly, only the Warhammer and Marauder IIC were stylistically the same (the Locust IIC was in the same vein but I remember it having Solaris VII style mall laser bushels) as their originals. The rest changed up the gear (weapons and maneuver) so that they bore no resemblance to their ancestor. Plus, I hated the manga style art.

Also, I thought MWO was using their own variant that replicated the AC/laser double barrel arms with paired Large Pulse/Ultra AC5 in each arm?

Oh, let's just wait until the Phoenix Hawk IIC rolls out. Because nothing says "Phoenix Hawk" like assault weight and a pure ballistic loadout, and basically just being a better Charger. Congratulations, Steel Vipers, for demonstrating why you'll always be a second-string Clan.

This rendition of the Rifleman IIC has some resemblance nagging at the back of my mind, but I can't quite place it. A T'au drone from 40K with some heavy upgrades? A distant relative of Tom Servo? Maybe HAL 9000 decided to stop screwing around with spaceship electronics, get himself a 65-ton robot body, and murder astronauts the old-fashioned way?

I can see the resemblance to a Tau worker drone. Maybe one hitching a ride on a Broadside suit?

@Brother Diogenes the first thought come to mind upon seeing the rifleman IIC was Alpha 5 from power rangers fame
