Hi all, need help with a bug / error i ran into.

I'm using Battletech Extended 3025 mod. latest modtek, latest update from CAB and Battletech extended 3025, from a fresh install.

Additional mods: permanent evasion, using basic panic system for ejections from dZ's consolidated company commander, skip intro, AIM, and I edited my random campaign starting mechs.

No additional modifications made.

Everything playing great, no issues, until I did my first flashpoint (Joint Ventures). 2nd mission is base defense. On enemy reinforcement arrival, I'm getting the infinite stuck in enemy turn issue. Unfortunately, it is an ironman save, and I had previously quit in middle of mission. So my save is literally mid combat, and this happens everytime...lol

I uploaded my output log as well, any help would be appreciated, my campaign was just getting sweet lol.

Ok, I am NO expert, but I can say with relative certainty that it's an issue with a vehicle of some sort (ie: a Tank)
so lets see,...
If your running the latest latest latest extended 3025 you might want to disable the sub mod BT_Extended_3025_PlusVee, as it does mod some of the tanks which could be causing a conflict. Remember once you disable any sub mod or add a mod delete the .modtek folder and let mod tek build a new database. REMEMBER what you do in case it doesn't work as a go around, so you can return to the original state.

Might also check to see if your running the latest CAB as there are vehicle files (ie: Colo_TankPack1)

Anyway I hope this helps.. I know I've hosed a number of mod installs over the last few weeks myself so if it happen it happens. Best of luck!

@Ganimal : The error looks to be the Behemoth MoveDef error.

The MoveDef file was misplaced in the wrong folder!

Please download the attached zip and put the file in :

BATTLETECH/Mods/JK_VariantsCAB/movement/

Apologies - as this was my error, not Haree's!

There also appears to be an error in some versions of the mod with the Daimyo Mobile HQ. I have attached correct copies of that in the folder as well.

Please let me know if these fix your issues!

Big thank you to @Mongo101 who had helped me to find these bugs ;)

@TLRoff - very good guesses by the way! Oddly, in this situation it is likely a problem because that folder is disabled, as that is where the Behemoth Movedef landed :(

NOTE: I noticed a 'portrait' bug as well. Not familiar with that issue though.

I saw rather quickly in his output log file the dreaded "-1"

which to the uninitiated shall be translated as "Oh shit I broke it!" And noted that yes a vehicle loading issue in the gobbledygook above. I am still learning to read that file.. And the sooner I get better at it the sooner I'll be able to pump the flashpoints I've got half written out. No bug like debug! So like vested interest to learn! Noticed you updated your whole pack over at Nexus.. I assume it all of the above only better!

Don't think to much about all the things that can go wrong in modding.. If you do, you'll never get started..much less finished!

Winston Churchill said "Success is going from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm"... He was one sick and twisted man ya know...

Looking forward to your FPs bro :)

Yes, I updated the Nexus version to have the corrected files - and Haree has it fixed in 3025 - good eye!

I will likely bump Variants and Rarity up to version 1.5.1.2 this weekend - as I am hoping to see a few new Vee and 'Mech models appear this week :D

Yay! It worked, thanks much, and love your work! @TLRoff, looking forward to your FP as well!

Also in future, would it be wise to update your JK variants files when you post an update on nexus? or wait until Battletech Extended 3025 get's updated (since it includes your mod, but I'm not sure if it was altered).

@Ganimal - glad to hear it! Thank you for posting a log file to help me figure it out ;)

In the future, I'd also attach a copy of the ModTek log file found in the BATTLETECH/Mods/.modtek/ folder.

Enjoy:)

Sorry, only half answered you :p Yup - I'll make sure to update in the Mod thread here and Nexus with any changes. As well as making sure Haree has it for 3025.

Thank you kind sir, that's the least I can do lol.

Sweet, that'll be great. With so many cool mods, it's hard to keep track, especially since modders mod mods lol.

Thanks again
