I feel like I should join to help fill this out but that deadline falls right in the busiest part of my work schedule. I'll think about it.
Note that the deadline can be moved, but I only have a three hour window available on the afternoon: between 18:30 GMT and 21:30 GMT. I've put 20:00 GMT as deadline because it's in the middle of this window and the most practical time for me but it can be moved earlier or later if it suits you more and is not a problem for people who have already signed up
As I feared it's not easy to get 17 players atm. Will spam more after work tonight trying to get some older people to get back.
Else.... I like this setup but it's not the easiest one to adapt to a low number of players. Perhaps 12 players (current number of players who signed up) with 8-2-2 can do the trick ? Or I'll just change the setup if we have less than 17 players and the "friends" setup is too hard to adapt
What do people think ?

I appreciate the flexibility but none of that is great for me. If you are going to move it I'd rather you move it for someone else who will benefit more from it.
Among other things, WW is a game of vote analysis. A pack of 2 renders vote analysis difficult. I personally advocate patience, but definitely understand and respect the urge to start a game rather than wait indefinitely.
Hu. One answer to a GM question in 3 days, huh ? Doesn't look like this game is attracting crowds. I'm not sure trying to spam old players to come back would even be useful. It's probably better to postpone the game until people really want to play Werewolf again

Ok, ok. I was posting a provocative comment in the hope of upsetting people and getting a strong reaction.
Well, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to start the game on Wednesday. So that more players have the time to sign up in case they missed the game so far, but we still start rather quickly.
If by Wednesday we're still 12, or we're only 13, I'll switch to a setup with a Seer (and a 3 WW-pack) to accommodate the low number of player (if we have more than 13 but less than 16 I'll ask the elders if they think the friends setup with a low number of villagers can work - if they think it is unbalanced I'll switch to a Seer setup)
Thanks ! Stumbled on the game rather randomly a couple years ago (I'm a Linux user and I was looking for games running on Linux natively). A great game, but I can't managed to get back to it and didn't finish a couple very interesting campaigns (like the Mermen one or the Rise of Wesnoth who linger in limbo - I still have my saves and the appropriate game version to use them but I can't put my mind to it). Good to know there are other players out there, the community although still kicking looks rather small
The paradox forums continue to grow in number of users don't they? You'd think at least a few of them would wander off into the "fun forums" section and maybe try to join a game every once in a while
