Hello, I would like to ask for an specific event that happened to me once, in a Daenerys Playthrought I took the Iron throne and proceed to conquer Myr and Pentos, While going to Pentos an event pop up, I don't remember it quite well but it was about Daenerys wanting to become more? she wnted to Breath fire like a Dragon, I had to options, Try to do it with a chance of Dying or just forget it, obviously I tried and Died miserably, Can someone tell me about this event, how to propmt it or where to look at it in the files, please

I dont know exactly, but it seems like the event for lunatic valyrians to try and become a dragon by ingesting wildfire.

Oh... so there'sn't a good outcome? only death, I have to check the save game but I don't recall being lunatic nor paranoid

It's supposed to replicate the event of Aerion 'The Monstrous' Targaryen, and his attempt at drinking wildfire. I dont know the triggers, but I know that there IS an ending where you life, and get a trait 'dragon', which is just sorta shitty because its essentially a validation of your insanity that you truly believe you are a dragon.

Found the event!

high_valyrian.15, under the high_valyrian_events file. there are three outcomes: fail and die, technically fail but life as 'fake dragon', and apparently the one that I've never seen before, but there is a chance you might actually become a dragon.

Hope this helped!

It doesnt let you be the dragon is the only thing, it abdicates you to your heir, who can then theoretically ride the new-you dragon. Its just a way to get dragons in the world without needing an egg or going to asshai

Did anyone in ASOIF universe manage to transform into a Dragon? like in the lore not in the game

Not to my knowledge, and after having run a few games and seen the event pop up every so often, the turn-into-dragon thing has a ridiculously low chance of happening.

I had this event happen over the years numerous times.

#1 chance is to fail. Character dies.
#2 chance i experienced is to succeed, character is functionally insane and everyone sees him as way way beyond a lunatic.
#3 character becomes a dragon.

So... I've played literal hundreds of hours in this mod (thousands, if you take the hours I let it run when I was AFK) and only ever seen #3 happen ONCE myself. It possibly could have happened when I was AFK... but I doubt it. I've seen the #2 happen like ten times.

I avoid the event now, because it is simply like playing Russian roulette, but instead of a revolver you are using a machine gun... and every round is loaded into the magazine and you are essentially just praying the gun will jam and self-destruct in the wielder's hand while simultaneously gold rains from a clear sky. Good luck with that...

There are several events like that in this game, with HIGH risk, and with relatively low reward. They are fun for "lore" purposes, but once you've done them a few times you kind of know to stay away. There are many events in this game which would benefit from more "neutral" options so as to increase my desire to "play the odds" rather than avoid the event entirely. This is just one of them. It's a shame to think of how many hours they spent making events I actively avoid.
