The frequency of building malfunctions is getting on my nerves.
 
You can kill them, send them to a tiny dome far away on their own and cut their oxygen supply.
That's a bit harsh.
Idiots are not like Renegades which have a work performance penalty of -50. They work as hard as normal colonists.
Putting them in farms is the most beneficial for the colony with now drawbacks.

They should if the building in the same dome that needs that idiot's specialization is already full with specialists. Maybe prioritising the farm to maximum also should make these wrong specialization idiots leave his farm job even less. But if you train botanists they WILL butt in and replace the wrong specialization idiot no matter if the farm is set to accept all kinds of specialists.
If you have too many idiots just use a basic dome and set it to prefer idiots. And ban them from all other domes. And just build farms in that dome and basic services. Enough farms so all idiots to have jobs. And set them to grow seeds or something. That way even if the idiots are the wrong specialization they will have to work in the farms. Specially when the farms are highest priority. Then the services in that idiot dome will be manned 2nd since they will be medium priority.
