This has been mentioned already in the thread but I'm reiterating it here for visibility.

The technology we're using in the background to make this possible unfortunately doesn't have support for the Linux platform.

A common thing that will create some problems for us to show the Monarch's Journey is mods that are interfering with some files we need. Even seemingly harmless mods might interfer with the gui elements we require - so try to disable _all_ mods if you're having problems getting the feature in the main menu.

Reactions:
A lot of references to Crusader Kings III in that new 'Monarch's Journey" feature...

EDIT: Guess CKIII was announced today. Oh.

Do you have a list of previously highlighted characters?

Does it have support for Mac? Because I tried opening CK2 and it's not showing the Monarch's Journey, and I'm on Mac OS 10.15.

Are the challanges on a timer or will they remain forever?

Can you access this if you're running the 64-bit beta or do you have to be on the main release branch? It's not showing up for me even after disabling all mods.

The main branch *is* the 64 bits version now (Update 3.3 is now live, with 64 bits support, free egyptians portraits, monarch's journey and bugfixes)

When I try to connect to my paradox account to play "monarch's journey" it says "not-authorized" (I used the email and pass I use for the forums). No mods active. Revised files on steam. Mainstream version. o_O
If I go to "create account" and fill it with my data it says "account-exists".
Any Idea?

Getting back into it with this challenge, any good let's play video or quick guide for this King of Brittany challenge ?

My tip would be swearing fealty to france, pump out kids and ally the french dukes and take on Normandy from the inside (assuming they lose to norway as they tend to do). Then Anjou will be an easy grab after that.

My dude Konan is 69 at the moment, and I'm just missing Devon for 100%, which I'll be able to take as soon as the king of Norway dies (he's 65, depressed and has cancer, and I have a 200% murderplot on him, while he is 81% down in an excommunication war... at this point the question is just if I'll outlive him. The war itself will be a formality, he doesn't stand a chance). If I don't manage Devon before Konan dies it will just be the one war to take normandy back from his brother anyway so I'm not too bothered. Have already unlocked one piece of glorious beard. :D

Try to avoid creating more duchys than absolutely neccesary, gavelkind is a bitch and you wont get to primogeniture in Konan's lifetime. But the only part of the challange that actually requires Konan specifically is having 5 sons, so you can spend the full 400 years for the rest. As long as you do the first part you can play the rest of the game at your leisure unless you take it up as a personal challange to get it done fast.

you can also marry a woman with a weak claim on anjou from day one, that's what I did.
also your initial bastard is pretty good for a alliance with the duke of aquitaine, I managed a normal marriage but a matrilineal marriage would do just fine if you only want the achievement

Thank you guys for the advice !

You can marry one of the HRE emperor's celibate sisters to form an alliance with him and press your claim on normandy with his giant army. Just invite some lustful lowborns to seduce so you can have sons. Wait until all the England wars stop before pressing your claim, so the war doesn't end if the kingdom changes hands.

I have 3.2.2 (64bit) and removed all mods and it doesn't show up in starting menu, any ideas ?
Unsubscrbe from all beta, wait for your game to be updated to 3.3, and try again
