Hi.
I have played a game a while ago. I started in 769 as Khazaria and I conquered the entire world in 950. Now I had nothing to do, so I decided to play until the end date to get the "seven centuries" achievement. And so I did. I ran the game on speed 5 for about 300 years now.
It is 1229 and all I had to do was micromanage my children, put down adventures, have a few brief wars with china and one or several plots to kill me.
I own everything. only 9 provinces in the entire game are held by other clan chiefs. everything else is mine. I burned down every building, every holding in the entire world. and other than my tengri holy order "lords of the sky" and the pope as well as some orders nobody else exists in this world.

in other words: my game is empty (and a bit boring, but hey, I just want that achievement). This makes my game run really fast on max speed. A month passes in under a second. I only get stopped for monthly autosaves. if it were not for those my game would probably run so fast, I would have hit end date hours ago.

but my real problem is, that by now in 1229 the game keeps freezing after a few months of play and I cannot do anything but crash my pc via task manager. Any ideas? I did try to play on speed 4 but that is too slow for just sitting arround waiting the game to end. and I really want to get to the end date. It is only about 220 years left. I want that shiny.

So the crash is repeatable from the saved game, is that right?

If so please post it in a new thread in Bug Reports, QA will look into it there.

Please report the temperatures of your CPU and video (GPU)
1/ before starting the game up and
2/ after say 30 minutes' play.
If your PC's vendor has given you no way of reading temperatures, install
SPEEDFAN http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php

I do not get to play 30 minutes at once.
And I cannot check really well, since I have to force my pc to restart when the game crashes. I cannot get the task manager in the front.
But my fans are pretty silent the entire time.

Okay, well 20 minutes? 10 ? Any data is better than none.

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/CK2/settings.txt.
From your Documents/Paradox/CK2/logs/ folder, attach system.log .

I cannot do anything like that. I have my file attached, yes. But I cannot run tests in background. when the game crashes, I cannot do anything until I pull the plug. and that would delete any collected data anyway.
