The affected user was blaming their own hardware ... no one is shifting blame here.i dont know why some are so persistent to blame it on our hardware when its clearing a software issue. its frustrating to shift blame.

Did you try disabling autosave altogether? Here's my files. Still having the same issues, freezing up every 10 or so minutes. Most recent Drivers and BIOS, ransomware off, temperatures seem good and I did a hard reinstall. Tried with Windows defender disabled and enabled but excluding both the steam and documents folders; without the DLC; tried both Ironman and not, with and without cloud saving and steam cloud sync. It doesn't seem linked with autosaving, but I'm not real sure how to parse any of it. Here's hoping a second set of data can narrow it down.
It is your game that is having issues, not sure how its our fault. how about fixing it instead of being catty on your forums. its unreal. The affected user was blaming their own hardware ... no one is shifting blame here.
exactly and its not like its a free product. sure it may be a small % affected but clearing this is something they have to fix because all of their "solutions" havent resolved anything. The serve of the mods, to cast blame then say oh no they are casting blame on themselves. is tone deaf and shouldn't be a mod on any game site.Especially when we still got it running on the hardware it should not supposed to run![]()

We did not say it was your fault. It is your game that is having issues, not sure how its our fault. how about fixing it instead of being catty on your forums. its unreal.
unprofessional is all i got to say but im not surprised. i played ck2 for years, and purchased dlc but you are acting like this is not a on you issue. perhaps get the crashes fixed, all this solutions arent solutions they are band-aidesWe did not say it was your fault.
No I'm not.you are acting like this is not a on you issue.
Thanks very much for the update!Just one last update on this (although my thread sort of seems to have become a bit of a catastrophe), I am now pretty certain that, in my case at least, the issue was hardware. I've replaced my PSU and everything seems to be working fine now. I'll update the OP once again, but basically if anyone is having an issue similar to the exact one I described, I would recommend trying to run a GPU stress test for 15 or 20 minutes and see if you get any crashes, and if you do, look into your GPU, BIOS settings, and/or PSU.
Thanks again for the help in this thread, appreciated the assist in narrowing down the problem.
