How to start my crew missions [Switch]

I have two crewmembers with an active mission that asks me to speak with them (Hugh and Maria Rodriguez) but I can't speak to them because if I try I just switch to control them.

Can someone explain me how to do it? I'm forced to dismiss them first? I'm playin on Switch

Not sure of the equivalent control on the Switch but on PC a right mouse click on gangsters (and other NPCs and buildings) brings up a radial menu with a few different contextual options. One of those will be talk.

This should do the trick: select your boss character, walk up to the one you want to speak to and press X.
