The 2020 WritAAR of the Year is...

We are now very close. Only 2 categories left to reveal. I won't call them the most important or biggest, but any self respecting AARlander I am aware of would love to win one or both. And today we are looking at the writAAR. In the previous 3 years, we've only seen 2 individuals take home this prize. And both were once again nominated this year. In fact, a grand total of 36 different writAARs were given nomination by our 18 voters. That's huge! But we must get to the winner and our top 3 (actually top 5) were fairly close. Thus I give to you the 2020 WritAAR of the Year:

Already winner of both the Comedy AAR and CharactAAR, this was a banner year for our TBC (despite some personal issues of which we are all thinking of you!) Well done, sir!

No matter what position you find yourself on this list, the fact is that someone considered you one of the best 6 writAARs of 2020. Given how many people practice their craft here, that is a huge compliment. Very many congratulations to each of you and especially to @TheButterflyComposer for an excellent year of writing clearly displayed here by this victory.

And now we are down to AAR of the Year which will likely be later in the week (bet you can't guess which it is. ) For now, offer up your congrats and thanks.

I've had Echoes of a new tomorrow in my 'to read' list for ages, and just never got around to it. Thanks to all those who voted.
