Hey everyone! I would like to know if there's any issue with the holy fire achievement because I've done it twice now and haven't unlocked it. 100% sure I've desecrated the 10 different religion holy sites, ironman mode on, also opened up the achievements window in the menu twice to unlock it (since it seems you can only unlock the achievements after opening it twice).

It's been broken since 1.4.2 I think. I have done it on 1.4.2, 1.5.3 and 2.0 and never got it fired. Some say it used to work before religion rework so you can maybe try ot revert back to 1.3 or 1.2 to see if it works.

I unlocked it a few days ago as well, but I ended up razing about twenty holy sites of 11-13 different religions, and then it suddenly popped. So it is possible to get but something is wrong with the achievement parameters.

I razed all HS from the religion menu, which may have mattered

did a bug report on it when the religion rework made it impossible, still hasn´t been fixed. I´m really annoyed about it tbh, because it´s been such a very long time

I mean, I really don't want to revert the game to an older version. I wolud like to play the current version and be able to unlock all achievments. Marius update is great IMO but bugs are still very present, the barbarian bug is the one that bothers me the most

Just dropping in to say it's feasible to get this achievement, but it's not working properly (I saw someone posting this on Reddit, tested it and worked for me). You have to desecrate 10 holy sites, but you have to pay attention to the dominant religion of the settlement. For example, if you convert as Antigonids a Cybelene settlement to Hellenic and you desecrate the holy site, it will count as desecrating an Hellenic site, even if the deity is Cybelene. For this, the religion map mode is very helpful, as you can see which is the dominant religion and the deity of the holy site. That's why people can get it either form the religion screen or the army screen.
To summarize, to get the achievement, desecrate holy sites in 10 settlements with a different dominant religion. Hope it helps!

Thanks a lot for the tip, I'll definetly give it a go next playthrough :D

So I just unlocked this achievement, running 2.0.1 right at the very end of a Pax Aeterna run. I desecrated about 20-25 holy sites of various religions, and against my expectations it actually fired. I don't really know from that what the conditions actually are right now, but it is possible to satisfy them, somehow.
