With my friend we both purchased the game on steam, but no matter what we do, our checksum is always different, and cant play multiplayer game. For my friend its 8417, for me e634. We tried everything we read (uninstall the game, delete the game folder from documents and steamapps as well, launch options is empty etc). We tried different beta versions as well, nothing is working.
Is there anything else we can do? How to change the checksum?
Just found out: checksum 8417 is for the newest patch 2.0.3. I have no idea, why is it different for me.
If i newly install the game, but instead of starting it from Steam, i start it from the directory of the game with imperator.exe, it shows the correct checksum (8417), but once i start it from steam even one time, it shows the incorrect one e634, even though if i start it again from the directory, and i have to reinstall the game.
