Quick question, but how does one interact with the Temporal Benefactor? Is it through the various cluster events, or is it limited solely to certain civilizations like the Suliban? I was hoping to spice up my current UE game with it, but I've just hit the end game year (set it to 2300) and the Borg are on their way as of 2340~, so I think I'm past the point where I'd get the most mileage out of it, and just wondering how I might be able to trigger it early for my next game.

Also, is it available in the Mirror Universe? I know, as if one warship from the future wasn't enough :p

EDIT: Oh, and something I just remembered! In my current UFP game, I noticed that the Xindi are being led by one of the Xindi Avians. I know they're definitely extinct at game start, but I'm thinking about having a game as them in the future. Is that a cluster reward, or just something hidden in their event line? :D
 
So, the Temporal Benefactor is unlocked with one of the traditions in the "Destiny" category. At game start only empires with the Masters of Time civic (and the Suliban) have access to this. The Benefactor is interacted with through the Institutions menu (in the Edicts and Institutions page).

Each time the Benefactor gives a mission that involves targeting another empire, there's a small chance that that empire will become aware of the Temporal Cold War, and get a chance to adopt the Destiny tradition.


And yes, The Xindi have an event chain where a small cluster of eggs are located and can be bred to restore the species. Hope this helps!

edit: A few things I don't understand. I founded the Federation with Andorians and Vulcans and I'm now joined an alliance with the Denobulans and the Tellerite. After doing so I got a message tha Vulcan sector left the Federation alliance, Andorian sector left Federation alliance???
How do I get the Denobulans, Tellerite in the Federation??

To get new members into the Federation, invite them through the Federation Council institution (click on the Institutions button in the Edicts and Institutions page). Assuming they're in your alliance at the time they'll receive your invite and send you a response. The response is weighted according to opinion.

Thanks for the quick reply. The quotes are really a minor quibble. Some are meaningful/profund but many just seem like they were picked because Trek fans will think "I know this quote"
