Playing as Egypt and at war with seleukid empire the game announced me "imminent peace". It says "We may get our war goal automatically enforced in the following wars". Does it mean that after 1085 days there will be automatically peace and I get the war goal province ? Or can I continue my war nonetheless ?

Isn't this "peace imminent" just an event that occurs when some time passes in a war ? Also the tooltip and banner are slightly different in my screen compared to the ones in the link you give. It's not "white peace imminent" but just "peace imminent" and there is a timeframe indicated in the tooltip, 1085 days...

the tt changes depending on if you are attacker or defender I think and on wargoal. It is possible that enforce peace is bugged and not WAI

The "imminent peace" works for both the attacker and the defender. As an attacker you can claim the wargoal if it occupied and uncontested for long enough. As a defender you can enforce white peace if the wargoal has been uncontested for long enough. At the moment I think that as IsaacCat mentioned "imminent peace" is bugged though. Furthermore even in the past when it wasn't bugged I have never seen the AI make use of it in all my runs.

What does WAI mean ?

I have started a game for testing and in defensive war I had the "white peace imminent" notification. It's definetly different than "peace imminent", there is no time frame, the banner is different and I get it in defense instead of "peace imminent" that I get in attack.

My question is, will there be automatic peace and end of my invasion (when I'm the attacker) after the countdown expires ? Will I get only the war goal territories when it happens ?

WAI = Works as Intended (you'll also see WAD - Works as Designed - used)

In a defensive war, getting this fully ticked down means you've defended long enough to force the attacker into a white peace no matter what they want. This should not happen automatically. As an attacker, this will often open up to indicate that the defender could force a white peace if they can hold the wargoal long enough. Since from the look of it you've got them fully sieged down, you're good.

I should note that this is an option for the AI as well, even if you're currently sieging down the war target (had rebels successfully force a White Peace even though I was on their fort).

The one who holds the wargoal gets the OPTION to enforce peace then, assuming thats you you dont have to and you can go for more.

Just somewhat badly worded.
