As Fulgrymm notes, "terraforming candidate" is what anomalies default to once the pool of available anomalies is used up. It's been rebalanced somewhat - you might get a couple of them early on, slowing the rate at which other anomalies are depleted - but the core problem is that there doesn't seem to be a pool of "generic" anomalies to fall back on.

The only issue I can see, is what will the game default to if that one is gone?
Hmmm... Ok, so how do I mod it in order to still exist but has no effects? I guess it can still provide experience but not yield a terraforming candidate.

I just delete the effect form the files but keep the event otherwise intact and in existence? Should be fine?
