Strategic Resources -How Do They Work?

Okay, so I get that you get the bonuses. However, what if you double them up? So playing as Germany, I have ball bearings already in my core provinces. But if I invade Sweden and take Göteborg, do I then get an additional 15% repair speed so I'm looking at 30%? Same with any other doubled up strategic resource?

Sorry, no. As I understand it the bonuses do not stack. Exception bring the two different named, nuclear ones, Uranium and Heavy Water.

The HoI3 expansion For The Motherland includes Strategic Resources to enhance game play.

The effects from strategic resources can be shared with other nations:

• Major nations receive the benefits of strategic resources from any other nation within their faction
• Faction leaders receive the benefits of strategic resources from any nation that is closely aligned to their faction so long as:
  • The aligned nation has their capital on the same continent as the faction leader
  • The aligned nation shares a coastline on the same ocean as the faction leader

Does this apply to TFH as well?

I was mulling this one over. Don't the two caveats applied to Faction Leaders apply also to those rules on Major Nations?

I mean as Japan joining Axis i don't automatically get German strategic resources until either of us dramatically expands towards the other.

Have to be on the same continent, yes.
