Hello, after noticing how easy it was to port a mod from 1.04 to 1.05 I wanted to ask, does anyone have any interesting mod in that version? Would love to check out which mods have been left behind despite being fun or interesting.

This also leads me to ask, anyone over here still has a version of Hegemonia mod or Novapaddy's Homeland one? Both were amazing and it's a shame they seem to be lost, there was a Byzantium one as well though I never got to actually try that one.

Anyways, if you happen to have one, would you provide a link? :p I guess updating from 1.03 RC2 must also be rather easy.

Here it is Homeland for v1.03.
Shouldn't be hard to update it for v1.04.
I will answer tomorrow about Hegemonia after I check my old PC.

And here are the files for Hegemonia, should be compatible with v1.05 although I didn't test it.

Thanks!
It wasn't hard to update it to be available for 1.04, though I had to search out and fix plenty of strings that were missing since Nova had a rather unique way to organize some files. Once I learnt what I was searching it was easier to look out for them ^^ . I briefly tested it and seems to be working properly now, I will update it to 1.05 and then will search how to upload the modded files (since I don't plan to compress back the entire mod since you have a working link :p )

And thanks once again :) once I finish up updating Homeland I'll check it out. Really appreciate it! ^^

Homeland Upgrade for 1.05
For anyone that has or downloads this version of Homeland, here I have an upgraded version of the files needed to run it with Darkest Hour 1.05. I added an instruction file just in case, there are two options to update it though the last one wasn't tested but I largely assume it must be the same in the end. ^^

The only disclaimer I have regarding the updated mod is that foreign ministers seem to have some weird and iffy traits, sadly I am not capable enough regarding modding ministers to correctly assume what they are meant to have or portray so if anyone manages to fix up those; great! I think I managed to solve the missing strings and the economy of the countries seem to run properly, so, here I end with Homeland. :p

There was a Conan mod, for which I made some graphics for. It had such a good map, but the creator vanished before uploading it, so it stuck with the old map and a 1.04 version. I would be thankful if you could update it. Since than I made a vast amount of material for it, but left it on ice after the creater didn't reply to anyone anymore.
If you could update it, I will start to add my stuff to it.
The creator and I started to do unique stuff in DH terms (like rivers that you can use with your navy, and RPG events).

Tiny fix for personality issue for Hegemonia 1.05
And here are the files for Hegemonia, should be compatible with v1.05 although I didn't test it.
Thanks! I gave it a try and it seems it works properly, wasn't able to find any issues in my test run as Russia. Only noticeable thing is there's a mistake with the personality and description of the ministers. They are located in a file the game isn't reading (I assume), anyways, I just copy-pasted them into the text.csv file and voila; working wonders. ^^
(I uploaded directly in here the text.csv that ended up fixing that tiny issue)

Sure, I will download it, check the files and then give it a try to see if there are strings missing or something else. ^^

Okay, here I am, haha gotta say I was surprised to find out the mod wasn't as heavy I had imagined it would be. Tried it first on Darkest Hour 1.04 to be entirely sure there weren't missing strings (and they were all there, yay!). From what I saw in a brief test run everything seems to be working fine, though the red Aquilonia in the East seems to have economic issues when run by a player (couldn't see if it had the same as AI). Though I guess that could be due to the strong economy it has, since it doesn't go into massive negative numbers I guess the misc file is working properly. :p

Here you can find both of the files I updated, brought in the strings for 1.05 as well as the updated misc file. ^^
Hope it works enough for you!
And btw, savedebug detected an error, it is mentioned on the Notes.txt I threw in but it is about a missing tech component or at least an unknown one.

Rivers you can use with your navy? How? That sounds super cool

I'm curious about those RPG events, too.

Thank you very much!
Happy to help ^^ , the map's design reminded me about the Yugoslav Wars mod I saw a long time ago around here I think. It is quite a cool concept for a mod, had never seen something like it.
Post-Nuke Project would be a great new import
What is it about? I think I've never heard about that one  though the name sounds promising.
If you happen to have a working (even if old) version send it and I can try my best. ^^

Its an old 1.03 abandoned mod, not sure if the mod author is still on the forums. Would be nice for it to be revitalized by some dedicated modders however. Its pretty much a cop off with the Fallout Doomsday mod, it can be found on Moddb

I've got version Turning Point 0.3 and it runs under 1.05.
That's great to hear, thanks for letting me know!

(Now let's see if I can get it to work :))

EDIT: Better yet, let's see if I can find a working download link......

MDS for 1.05
Arise from the dead thread of mine, I shall call you to return from the lands beyond.
Necromancy goes brrr, leaving the drama aside.

Here's the link for the MDS mod for 1.05, there are some disclaimers I shall mention along stating that it's my personal version of the mod so there's a small chance that ai_chances for some events were modified by me (not too likely, but I can't say I'm 100% sure about it) or there could be one or two things that shouldn't be there, not sure tbh, didn't run it before uploading it.

And the notes I added in the other threads looking for MDS:
"Things I can remember about that mod version I uploaded:

1) I disabled one Strategic Bomber technology (well, not disable per se, but the tech requires itself to be able to research so, it's impossible to research it at all.) The reason is the new strategic bomber model caused the game to crash and I was unable to fix the crashing so my best solution was removing that technology.

2) On the technologies section there's one going a bit futuristic but I always noticed the mod kinda blocked off some technologies so I tried to unlock them the best way I could, I haven't noticed any issues with that but I haven't run many games nowadays so it would need to be checked by new players.

3) There might be a small releasable nation in the USA, just ignore it, remnants from my MDS AAR idea I had years ago. And about this, I'm not too sure but I could've changed some events AI_Chance percentage at some point. But I guess we all play sometimes with that in Mods, :p , but I repeat: I'm not too sure. Maybe I didn't or maybe I did, no way to know since last time I played MDS was a long time ago."

With all of that mentioned, I hope the mod properly works for you (and I hope I didn't upload the wrong version lmao)
Anyways, take care peeps. :)

EDIT: Forgot to paste the actual link, lol.
