I have a game breaking problem with my mechanic shop not producing any visible or usable mechanic parts at all. When I click on the shop it actually shows the parts being built eventually after gathering the scrap, and yet my parts total will stay at ZERO. I've had a partially built wind turbine for days now(18 of 20 parts)I just need 2 more parts!? But they never come. The parts never arrive by any carriers, even with prioritize option. Am I missing something here? Do any building require constant maintenance with these parts or is this a bug?

I just figured out whats causing the problem and it has to do with the lightning rod. The lightning rod is completely bugged in my game and cannot be repaired no matter what I do, so right now I just bulldozed it, and I now actually have mechanic parts accumulating in my inventory after weeks of having none. So the bug has something to do with the lightning rod(which is broken and bugged) on xbox. For now, I'll have to take my chances and survive without a lightning rod. Someone please look into this and fix it a.s.a.p. because aside from these issues, I really love this game.

Yeah, there seems to be a bug with both the lightning rods and wind turbines wherein they just never get fully repaired for whatever reason.
I always thought it was just glitching and keeping a worker busy, but your experience seems to confirm that it also drains whatever resource is required for repair.

I noticed something odd that could be causing a problem. Whenever the lightning tower needs repairs, it's supposed to call for mechanical parts. The lightning rod in my game was calling for wood. And, when my wind turbines got damaged, it called for concrete when it should have been calling for mechanical parts too. Neither ever got fixed, so I bulldozed and rebuilt the turbines, but never bothered rebuilding the tower. These are serious game hurting issues that need to be fixed.
Yeah, that was common from my initial bug report pre-DLC. In addition to odd materials being required, it also sometimes changes. I had a turbine that needed wood, a worker brought it over, then it would glitch and suddenly it is now asking for metal to repair.
I’ve been using solar panels as those doesn’t seem to run into this bug.
