Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Updated my game to 1.7 and installed the Friends and Foes DLC. Launched the game normally without incident, but when trying to load an old save the game starts the loading screen but then crashes completely within about 5 seconds. Tried this for multiple saves with the same result.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Have a save file from 1.6.1.2, update to 1.7 with DLC, try to load old save.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

We'll need some more info to troubleshoot this issue, could you please go into "Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\crashes", and zip up the latest crash folder before uploading it to this thread? This will allow us to have a look at what might have caused the crash.

In addition, while we're investigating the issue, could you please try these steps:
1. Upload the broken save to this thread
2. Reinstall the game
3. Make sure that all mods are disabled

Hello, I've exactly the same problem. I played yesterday well, today I got the new updates and I can't run my save anymore, it'll always crash while loading the game. I'm at the moment trying to reinstall my game to try again

Attached. I can't find the saves in my documents folder (I think they're cloud saves?), but it doesn't matter which save I try, none work. No mods installed, all are ironman saves. Will try to uninstall and reinstall.

Yep, was able to create a new ironman game in 867, save and exit, then load back into the game without issue.
