I downloaded the dlc for ps4 and started a new colony. But I can't move my specialist around the world map now only 1 step from the colony. Is this part of the update? Do I need a scout to explore first? Also the game isn't allowing me to accept missions within the colony that lead to the world map i.e. searching locations. Pretty much I can only do stuff within the colony which as you can imagine is severely limited without research points.

I think you've had a bugged/unlucky start position there, hemmed in by those impassable mountains.

If you now start another new colony does that go better?

I've had this once before, just a case of being kicked in the nards by the RNG system for procedural generation of the world map. Restart the colony is only way to fix it sadly.

That's exactly the case here. We're aware of this exact generation related issue, but fixing it properly is a tough task. It seems to occur very rarely, but of course as players generate thousands of World Maps, it's bound to happen to someone.

Restarting the game is the only solution currently until we figure out a fix to the problem. Luckily, there's usually not too much progress lost. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I found a interesting bug where if one of your specialist gets run over by bandits in a Humvee it teleports them out of the map trapping them has anyone else heard of something like this?

Hey,

this bug has been a bit harder for us to reproduce so we haven't been able to fix it yet. Do you happen to remember if the teleporting happened while you were playing normally or did you load a save? It would also be helpful to know what order you gave the specialist, for example, finished combat, tried to move the specialist etc.

the bug happened while playing normally and after a few movements turns intended to move it to intercept the moving barbarians and instead of initiating combat it was teleported off the map
