Paradox Launcher Update failed

Upon start of Vic3 the launcher shows an error message that an update has failed.

Logfile suggests that the repository signature has failed to verify. Maybe a certifcate issue? Validity end date reached?

There will be other logs there such as cpatch.log, those are the ones I mean please.

I have the same issue, but I don't have any launcher-v2 folder. I have a launcher folder only: "C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\Programs\Paradox Interactive\launcher". Launcher version is 2022.14. https://prnt.sc/fJyjSo2Do4NK . I tried giving admin powers to the bootstraper exe (already on an admin, the only PC account), then it says "A Paradox Launcher installation was found, but it's not working. Would you like to reinstall?". If I say yes, it gives the Windows Installer warning, another version bla bla. Removing admin rights launches the launcher, but I get the update failed error.

2022.14 is the current launcher version, so the update failure error is spurious and you can ignore it.

Hi all,
the issue has resolved on its own before I could provide the other logging files.
Don't know the root issue, didn't do anything, so probably new update of launcher or something on the update repository on paradox site.

Most probably a wrong check which didn't see that the launcher was already updated.

Verifying or reinstalling the game cannot fix a launcher problem, they are separate apps.
