Thank you to everyone for their congratulations and to @coz1 for nominating me (and reminded me that it was time to choose a successor)! It's a great honour to now become the joint record holder for this particular Award, I am pleased people have enjoyed reading my stories over all these years and continue to do so, I have a lot of fun writing them.
For the next winner, I am going to turn to the often overlooked Imperator forums, and an author whose AAR The Chosen People, covering Judea, I have really been enjoying recently and has perked my interest in taking a second look at that game. Congratulation @Uriah, you are the WritAAR of the Week!

First of all, congratulations on your latest win @Uriah ! Number 4 for you and well deserved! Please make sure to pass it off tomorrow as is customary and we can start 2023 on the right foot.
Secondly, this year of 2022 was the twentieth anniversary of the first year we started using this project to reward and highlight the great WritAARs we see pass through these internet doors. To date, we have singled out exactly 600 people over these 20 years. A nice round number and a testament to the amazing work and talent that we show. Well done, AARland!

Apologies for neither replying nor nominating a new winner. RL in the form of multiple COVID attacks in my family over Christmas/New Year and some other personal duties have prevented me from returning to Imperator and Paradox.
I hope to get back into it in a few weeks, but until then I can only ask if someone else could nominate and anyone interesting in my Judean enterprise show patience.

All fine reasons, to be sure. RL always takes precedence. Yet if we are to move forward, let us have another WoW for the new year. And I cannot think of anyone better than @Macavity116 for a monumental achievement! While it may be a double nod for the week (he already has the showcase) this is too important not to give reward. Starting in 2018, the Stormbreaker Universe was gifted to us in Stellaris and now, after 10 books, it finally ends in the last chapter The Last Heroes.
I'm pretty sure most of us here have had a wonderful AAR left by the wayside because...reasons. It happens. Yet to follow through and complete a work? To me, that is the highest achievement. And in this case, we are talking about six years. So many congratulations and it has been since 2021 that @Macavity116 has seen this nod. I only have one caveat...you cannot pick another Stellaris writAAR for your successor.

I've got two in a week here, which almost certainly would have caused me to explode if they happened say, a month ago. What do I do now? End my retirement after a week!? XD
