MacOS MBP 14" Resolution Issues

Playing on my MBP 14" but can't find a resolution that works. All the windowed options cut off the bottom of the screen and when I try to edit the settings from the actual document (both settings.txt and pdx_settings.txt, there's no real change. When I close the game and open those files again, there seems to be no change in the values (resets to before I changed it). The fullscreen resolution works but it makes it so hard to switch to other apps. The borderless fullscreen just covers the top bar and doesn't work either. Are there any solutions to make windowed or borderless fullscreen work?

This game is not supported on Apple Silicon (M1/M2) hardware, so we are reliant on Apple's Rosetta emulation for such matters.

Usable resolutions ought to be listed in Documents/Paradox Interactive/EU4/logs/system.log , have you tried those?

Your desktop resolution is an odd one though!

Yup, the max resolution of my laptop is 3024x1964 which is already quite odd but Apple scales it down without reducing the quality of the screen somehow, I can bump it up to the max resolution but it becomes really small and then the cursor is tiny and I have to scale the GUI up. Still no windowed mode is working w any of the resolutions since it goes off the bottom of my screen.

It says that it is a usable res but it still cuts off the page

What MacOS are you on? Latest is 13.4.1 , updates of it are the only way to get updated Rosetta versions.

Yup, it's honestly super weird. I'm on 13.4.1 as well. Is there any way to contact Paradox w a ticket or anything because it's quite odd.

in what way is it cut off? Can you post a screenshot of this(ideally from the whole screen and not just the eu4 window)?

The borderless fullscreen just covers the top bar and doesn't work either.

In what way doesn't it work? Maybe there is a solution for that?
