Vote Yak

He's started yanking. He's likely a villager, but his sharpies always end up killing good players due to how skmebodybalways believes them.
I'm no fan of Yak's shenanigans, though I don't think it's a great move to say day 1 you're aiming to lynch someone you think is a likely villager.

No one mentioned anything about traitors, and as yet no traitorous activity has occurred. So why do you even say with certainty that there are no traitors? Such a thought shouldn't occur unless you have dealings with the secessionist.

p.s., hoping to be on at deadline but I'm feeling very ill so i make no guarantees.

If we're talking about RP, you don't really have to look further than me literally RP'ing as a secessionist for an RP reason to vote me :D I kind of messed up there, so the votes on me are fair. Still, while day 1 RP votes are okay I am not a wolf and I would like to be given the chance to help the village for once

Technically everyone is a likely villager. On day 1 of most games we really don't have a reason to think anyone is a wolf. But we have to lynch someone anyway (that was kind of the only point of my earlier RP post btw, I find it a bit funny when WW games start with no deaths on night 0 because then there is no RP reason to start lynching anyone. I was just trying to poke fun at that). I don't think that saying you want to lynch a less useful villager is controversial

are you manifesting the spectre of metagaming at this point?

It is a heavy load to carry, but if you believe it strongly, we must act decisively to nip it now.

Randakar you stand accused!

No suprise, Yakman did the exact same thing last game.

Though, honestly, I believe you. And it is a good pont that yakman is in the lead.

And this really feels like a typical Yak idiocy atm.

I really would like to know what exactly Yak is claiming Aedan sent him though

How much time until deadline? 20 minutes, or 1 hour 20 minutes?

Thanks Dedonus.

Surprisingly little movement the last hour or so though. Why?

I guess people are fine with lynching Yakman.

I think he's probably a villager as wolf Yak doesn't really do these things.
The problem is that we have new players/people who don't have the externsive experience with him we have, and they tend to fall for his idiocy. Wasn't it last game that it ended up costing two villagers, before Yak himself then was hung? Hence it's basically minimising the damage. When Yak does this thing it usually leads to the death of a villager or two before he's strung up himself, so I'm suggesting we skip the innocent villagers dying step.

I'm not thrilled with this reasoning. Yes, it's likely we kill a villager day 1 unless we get lucky or someone is dumb, but saying screw it let's kill someone we think is a villager because they aren't helpful is a fairly unhelpful strategy. Particularly because it's an easy strategy to take regardless of faction. If we're just going to kill the same people early regardless of faction each game that accomplishes nothing and hamstrings analysis. The way you deal with these things is explaining it to new players. Yeah, some will go along and they'll have to learn, but just killing certain players because they can be detrimental isn't how we get meaningful information.

Vote thehdk

A couple players switched off the_hdk while he was in contention, and not really a fan of the logic behind the yakman/Wagon votes. Not really a fan of killing Panzer early either.
