@co_avanya Is the team aware of and working on a fix for the bug when you terraform near water, and bring land that was previously underwater above sea level, the game thinks the terrain is still under water. The only fix i've found currently is reloading the game. Speeding up the sim and waiting has no effect.
I thought it was a bug too, but it seems it takes a few game hours for the water to go away. There is no water animation but the water is still there and roads etc react accorgingly. I placed the game on speed 3 and waited a couple of minutes (real time) and alll was well.

Currently trying the recent patch on my beloved but a bit aged system which kinda reflects the recommended specs from the games announcement:

* RTX 2080ti (11GB of GRAM)
* Intel I9 9900k
* 64GB of DDR4 4000
* Samsung Evo 980 M.2 SSD
* 1440p

In short that patch was pure gold for my system - in before on a city with 20k inmates currently I was running somewhere in the 15 to 20 FPS region with textures getting low res while textures set to medium and volumetric quality set to low.

Now after the patch I was able to up these to texture quality = high and volumetric quality to medium. In general I'm able to run at 25 to 30 FPS in the same city (I limited FPS to 30 so it might get even higher). Textures do not go blurry anymore from what I see and TAA quality increased, likely due to more headspace for computing. Pretty impressive for a first patch!

So, is there any sort of time frame for the Game Pass patch to come in?

Speaking of which - Is there a time frame for the Editor and Mod Support-updates? I understand you can't give us specific dates yet, but something more than "soon" would be great. Is it days? Weeks? Months?

so instead of the game lagging to 10 fps every 2 minute it happens every 10 minuets so id say that its become better but still unplayable for me. I get a steady 40 frames besides the 2 minute 10 fps lag sections every 10 minutes or so. Nothing else solves this issue and i've tried everything.

Nice! But whats about the ultimate users via Microsoft store. Ultimate content is installed but not visible in game. Missing 2 maps and all the other stuff from preorder and ultimate.

It's already better.
But I would like to be able to adjust the brightness, colors, contrast, etc... in the game like I set them in photo mode
Because it's always too gray, dull, without brightness
How do I keep these photo settings?

It’s working really well for me. It ran pretty damn good before, but with the changes I’ve been able to crank more settings up to high without sacrificing FPS. Well done, all. I look forward to it getting even better.

Still no news about exports just not working?

Shouldn't have to rely on selling electric and taxes, I just have no interest in playing anymore after seeing everything stockpiling waiting to be sold, such wasted effort + money.

Game Pass uses the same version as the Microsoft Store. We haven't forgotten you and we expect to have the update available for you soon.

I understand, just sad it takes more time to be available there.

Thanks for the reply, appreciate if yall can let us know once the Microsoft Store update is available.

Should the update to LOD fix the blurry graphics? Because in that case, it isn't fixed.

edit: with that I mean I see this now with LOD to high on 1440p

Well, I was kind of hoping the patch today would have fixed this one, but alas...

There are a couple of confirmed bug reports for this exact issue. For some reason I can't post links here, but here is a workaround I have found that has worked for a lot of people...

I had the same issue. I have an RTX 4090 and am running default High on 3840x1600. What I did was go into advanced graphics settings and set my MIP Bias from 0 to 1, and the blurry texture issue cleared up immediately. Setting back to 0 and the textures went blurry again. Set back to 1, 2, or 3 and the textures loaded fine again. The settings page changed from High to Custom when I changed the MIP Bias setting, however when I restarted leaving it at 1, the Texture Quality showed Medium. I also tried just changing Texture Quality and letting the MIP Bias change with it, but no matter what I chose from High to Very Low, the textures remained blurry until I manually change MIP Bias off of what the preset was.

High =0
Medium=1
Low=2
Very Low=3

What is interesting though is that I helped out someone else having this exact same issue, but their default was set to Medium, MIP Bias 1, and they changed it to MIP Bias 2, and their issue cleared up as well, so it appears that just setting the Default Texture and letting MIP Bias stay with the default for Texture Quality did not fix the issue.
