Yes the lategame is still unplayable freezes, lags, and inputs are not registered. Above all, I'm not talking about big galaxies ect. No small galaxy, without fallen empires, without primitives and low growth rate and that just can't be. I would also be in favour of reworking the whole fleet system so that you have a strong fleet with just a few ships, for example.

I agree with this I'm playing on Xbox series X and even I have performance issues the game slows down a lot just after 2400yr. I play large galaxy (600) 4 AI empires 3 Fallen Empires (War in Heaven) and 1 Marauder 2.5x planets 1.5x Prim's growth scaling and logistic scaling is all default. most settings that decreases performance are off by default. It would be better to increase the fleet command limit to 300 it would be higher with Distinguished Admiralty (Civic) (Militarist)

Any word on when "There be Dragons" trophy from the Aquatics DLC will be fixed for Playstation players?

I understand that achievement unlocks are a much lower priority than addressing the performance issues and the like, but just giving the issue more visibility as it's been broken since release as of November last year.

Why is "Fixed commercial pact showing reversed values" only on Playstation? I had this on Xbox recently and reported it. It can't be right that a pathetic empire with 1 planet gives me many times more credits from a commercial Pact than my 20 planet empire? Was this fixed in 8.4?

And we get a lot of desyncs in multi-player. :(

Slowdown can happen on small/medium galaxies. I am not even daring to try large galaxy until we get another patch.
I tried small and ended up with the "Worm in Waiting" which has a 0.1% of appearing also medium galaxies. But I got tired of being boxed in due to AI placement I survey a couple of systems a bam another empire right by you it's worse when they are Fanatic Purifiers.

Can we get more fixes before the next big update?

Like trading materials despite having a vassal pay them (which should block trades).
Thread '⚠️ Vassal trading still bugged' https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/vassal-trading-still-bugged.1621549/

Or the feudal Society civic which should not allow you to dismiss leaders, but you can dismiss them.
Thread '⚠️ Feudal Society civic broken or wrong description' https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...ty-civic-broken-or-wrong-description.1621824/

And what about the swapped trade contract values that got only fixed on Playstation?

We all want 3.9 but it's going to take a while, so let's please get a playable game to play in the meantime...

I haven't played the latest patch, so can anyone weigh in whether it seems to help with crashes and late game performance? (Even though it's not mentioned in the release notes?)
Crashes are still a thing... but the main problem now is performance. The game can slow down horribly - and not just late game.

I fully agree with you. Fair enough that we have to wait for 3.9 - but we really need more hotfixes before then.
