Can’t load my save and keep getting kicked from the game every time I try.

So I’ve been having problems recently trying to save my games. I usually have to try about 15 times before it actually saves. My auto save doesn’t work either. I had a few corrupted saves and when I try to delete them it just kicks me off the game again. Now when I load into the main menu it displays the loading screen after I click my latest save and then kicks me off to my Home Screen on Xbox series S. I have deleted the game and redownloaded it and also cleared my cache by resetting my Xbox and still nothing. I really need this sorted as it’s the only game I play at the moment

It’s a known bug with saving and corrupting files. If you are trying to save a specific save file, it is lost unfortunately. And I would bet that when they finally patch the bug, you will need to delete all save files.
Glass half full for you: the issue has been around since Fate of Iberia released last year. Hopefully the upcoming patch will get a chunk of the gamebreaking bugs and you won’t have to wait a year

It’s a known bug with saving and corrupting files. If you are trying to save a specific save file, it is lost unfortunately. And I would bet that when they finally patch the bug, you will need to delete all save files.

Whether it says corrupted or not, that file probably will never open again. You might get away with deleting the cloud/hdd saved data before opening the game up. Anything large (large or multiple kingdoms/empires) risks this issue. Next patch should be some time this month. But it remains a mystery as to exactly when.
