Serious question:

Should we also start up a Dwarf Fortress game and build a gigantic Statue of Wagonlitz Enlightening (Endarkening?) the Dwarves?

I can't wait for the statue of Randakar Preserving the Light of Wagonlitz Enlightening The Empire, which commemorates the brave action by Force Randakar to save the statue from harm.

Of course, the rough granularity of Dwarf Fortress means that even an elaborate statue will look pretty sketchy.

Yep, that's a pretty legit reason to run a DF game ;-)

In fact... with the Steam version of the DF game it really is possible to have a Dwarf Researcher.

He would need to make his own parchment or paper (out of animal skins or plant pulp respectively), and maybe make some glue... but after that he could start writing books on any topics that he had (or gained) skill in.

EDIT:

Jeeze... I could play Conan the Librarian, make a bunch of books and open a Library.

DF is starting to sound interesting...

I'd rather continue aurora if possible.

I intend to continue this game at least until we destroy that big Prix infestation in Galapagonia, and quite possibly further.

Ah. Here's hoping for further.
Really would love to see this continue to the end.

Or at least to the end of Wagonlitz, master scientist.

There is no "end". It could potentially go on until his PC locks up lol

Oh. I thought it ended once you'd explored everything and beat the opponent.

You could still manage your empire guiding it and gilding the Lilly so to speak.

Guiding the lily?
For once I think someone else might have been making a typo and he means "gilding the lily" (i.e. putting gold leaf on the flower - making things even more and more fancy-looking)
