As this is open for nominations again, I would like to nominate @Crimson Lionheart who has not won this award for about ten months or so. I would like to call folks' attention to their AAR in the EUIV subforum Imperium Sine Fine and their main character so far, Robert XI de Hauteville who begins as someone called "the mad duke" and how his ambitions change Europe. The entire concept of this AAR is quite interesting and it is still early on so easy to catch up with this tale.
A fine choice, congratulations @Crimson Lionheart

Congrats!
Woah, I certainly didn't expect this. Thank you for the nomination @Chac1 for supporting my rather humble story and for everyone's amazing response! :D

I will nominate further down in the week, due to some family and employment obligations that frequently keeps me busy and on my toes. But I have created a small selection of candidates who rightfully deserve a chance to be in the spotlight that I will post in the next few days :)

Unfortunately, I have been struggling with pneumonia which has not given me time to find a worthy nomination. Hopefully, I can recover soon but I've been struggling the past few days.

If it is right, I would like to open up nominations again.

Thanks again for the opportunity to nominate someone. There are a variety of writers who I think are deserving, but I would like to nominate @High Speed Flying Gladius for this awAARd for his depiction of King Mathieu in his AAR The Red Heart of Europe. Folks know I prefer to nominate someone who has written something in the past week, so please check out the special Halloween chapter that HSFG recently posted.

Congrats to HSFG, who I believe is also a first-time winner of this award.

Most, if not all, the ruler characters in The Red Heart of Europe are eligible for this honor. The new King Mathieu is just the most recent. Congratulations @High Speed Flying Gladius!

An excellent choice. Congratulations indeed @High Speed Flying Gladius on a very well deserved win.

Thank you, Thank you!

When i first started this AAR, i was almost certain that characters were going to be one of the weakest aspects of the story, as i had never written a character driven story before. To recieve this award is an immense honor.

Love you all. I hope to continue to entertain with new and unique characters for many more chapters!

Congrats on a well-deserved honour, @High Speed Flying Gladius!

EDIT: This is the fourth time in a row that @Chac1 has jumped in to name a new WotW after the current winners have passed on nominating a replacement. Kudos to Chac, but the trend is disappointing. Mutual support of each others AARs is what drives these forums.

I haven't been reading enough, and those I have had a chance to catch are usually from the nods they get here...

I found myself increasingly busy IRL, and havent had the chance to read any AARs this past week (or, in general, for quite some time now).
Chance to nominate is up for grabs.

Could we nominate @CBR JGWRR for Appia Flavonius? (from Life 2.0) Very few characters in the Stellaris AAR forums have gone through such a thorough journey/transformation as her, and said journey is pretty damn fun to read. Appia (and Naomi) have got to be the posterchildren for the "we'll never be the same again" club.

EDIT: Used the character's full name to make her easier to find.
