Constant crashes, Long load times....Cannot even play the game now after a clean install no mods!!! Wont even let me play past this warning! WTF have you done to this game??? I played fine in 2022 and now I have spent over 12 hours trying to play this stupid companies game!. So annoyed at the lack of respect you show your customers....Rant over Ban me I dont care. YOU ARE A JOKE


And don't come at me with the usual tech BS This computer plays some AAA titles near ultimate settings. The problem is your end I am surprised you guys have not had legal problems yet the way this game operates on peoples PC's
 
Reinstalled 3 times now.... I am obviously furious at the game not even attempting to play I ain't got time to mess about sending stuff to you guys so either it gets fixed or I'm going to have to take some action somehow someway

That error means the launcher is not able to start the game itself, not really sure why.

What happens if you run ck3.exe directly from File Explorer? that bypasses Steam and our launcher.


And is this on the same machine that worked in 2022? If so we might want to do a clean reinstall:


- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-CK3
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/Crusader Kings 3 AND Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/ folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- add CK3.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam CK3 or Documents CK3 locations, before installing again.

Apologies for my tone I just hate wasting my time getting things to work. I have reinstalled 3 times now the launcher problem never went away even with fresh installs however the exe still launches the game. I will be getting a new PC soon so we shall see how that goes but so far with CK3 I have more problems than enjoyment

I deleted those files reinstalled launcher and game again... Still wont let me launch CK3 through the launcher, IDK how it's even possible after completely reinstalling it
