Expect im using steam and windows 11, ive tried reinstalling, deleting save files, Reinstalling the launcher and verifying integrity the launcher launches like described but as they say i just see the background, i managed to get it to load from the .exe file after awhile with no mods but thats not ideal.

Update: An hour later and nothing has changed, it seems to be a few paradox games, like eu4 and ck3 but hoi4 and Stellaris works

Once the game launches it shows the white screen or sometimes the same as described in the reddit post.

Did you maybe change your monitor or resolution? This is a common problem on nvidia systems with monitors for which 60 Hz is not in the list of refresh rates for the current resolution. Eu4 tries to force 60 Hz anyway which results in this problem on nvidia systems(it doesn't happen on intel and AMD systems, but I don't know what they do in this case)

I have always had a 4k monitor running eu4 and never had problems i am using Nvidia however.

Did you always run eu4 in fullscreen with a 4k resolution? Can you select a 60Hz refresh rate in windows? If you only have 30 Hz, there might be an issue with your monitor cable which caused your system to switch to an older HDMI standard which does not have enough bandwidth for a higher refresh rate

Always have run 4k and 60hz. It just started recently.

Did you check if 60 Hz is still the refresh rate which windows is using(and not something like 59.9 Hz)?
