Tsunamis? What makes you think the game has tsunamis?
Sorry... Dont now why I said tsunami... (hopefully we will get them soon though ;) )
But my main point is that if there is a fire or storm, the spread of the fire isn't accurate or natural, they are all tiny spot fires, and they don't spread properly. Storms have little no effect in my city... I get all the warnings with nothing happening.
And then back to the evacuation shelters, they serve no purpose at the moment as we can't evacuate the citizens, so I've never seen a evacuation bus in CS2. You plop them, they cost you to run but they do nothing. Please make them active and fix some of the natural disasters!

I pre-ordered ultimate digital version of the game on July 27th, 2023. I am suppose to have access to the 3 new DLCs. They are suppose to be free.
I logged out and back on from steam multiple times, I even restarted my computer everytime. Nothing works on my side. I still have to pay for the new addition.
It ain't normal. I updated the game at 6:30 am (4 hours ago). Still nothing. Paradox, can you do anything?

Back in "the way forward" update of PDX/CO (April 18, 2024):
The very first thing we’re doing is to compensate those who purchased Beach Properties. We will change the pack to be a free addition to the game, refund it to the extent possible, and provide additional content within the Ultimate Edition. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to offer refunds for Ultimate Edition buyers. This is due to the distribution of the Ultimate Edition across digital and physical storefronts, which create significant complexities for executing a partial refund. We realize that this is far from ideal, especially given the dedication those who have stayed with us since launch have shown. We are committed to repaying that loyalty, and therefore, we will compensate Ultimate Edition holders by adding 3 Creator Packs and 3 Radio Stations which, together, sum up to a value of USD 39.99. This solution hopefully ensures that you, regardless of purchase method, feel you receive fair compensation.

Although only the Ultimate Edition was mentioned, the impossibility of refunds was justified by claiming it could be purchased in various ways, either digitally or physically. Therefore, the content packs released today were meant to serve as compensation.

However, a physical Ultimate Edition was never released; it can only be purchased digitally. Instead, the “Day One Edition” and the “Premium Edition” were released as physical alternatives, with the Premium Edition corresponding to the Ultimate Edition in terms of content.

So when PDX/CO talked about the physical version that could be purchased from various local retailers, I assumed they were actually referring to the Premium Edition as the physical version. In my opinion, there’s no other way to understand this “The way forward” post. Otherwise, regarding compensation for the Premium Edition, we would be back to where we were before April 18, 2024…

Please PDX/CO, unlock the content for Premium Edition buyers as well, which is equivalent to the digital Ultimate Edition! Or do you want to discuss compensation again?

Yes, I just looked. What I bought via Amazon pre release was called Premium Edition. But it contained the same as the Ulimate Edition (or what ever that was called back pre release on Steam). So I assumed of course that those three CCP are now included in the pack as well.

The physical/premium versions are one thing, but the other is:

You could never upgrade from the regular version to the Ultimate Edition (like you can in every other game).
That's why CO released the "Expansion Pass: Waterfronts".
It's basically an upgrade to the price and content of the Ultimate Edition, but you don't own the Ultimate Edition, but rather the base game + all the Ultimate Edition content.

These people don't get the Leisure & Legacy Bundle either, even though they paid the same amount for the same content.

It's simply outrageous and the next blow to CO.
Great 10th anniversary. Here's to the next 10 years. XD We're excited to see what comes next.

Another issue, is that there aren't enough uneducated only job assets.

When we create uneducated jobs, we can't do so without creating other education level jobs that aren't needed. This makes businesses/buildings not perform well or be profitable. When that happens those businesses/buildings become abandoned and citizens lose their jobs resulting in them becoming homeless. Being able to create exactly what's needed would be a quality of life improvement.

I looked in my physical copy just now. I got three keys for Steam (back prior to release!), one for the base game, one for the Landmark Buildings and one for what was called Expansion Pass.

But the package was at time of buying the same as the Ultimate edition on Steam.

Yes, but my Expansion Pass from the Premium Edition (preorder) should not be the same as the Expansion Pass: Waterfronts.

I think the Expansion Pass: Waterfronts only exists on Steam since after the Beach DLC was made part of the base game.

Therefore I think it would be more than unfair if my Expansion Pass (bought before release), that included the same thinks as the Ultimate, does not get the three new CCPS, more than unfair.

Would be nice to at least have an answer from Paradox to know if we are supposed to get the new DLCs or not. But alas, they totally ignored us Premium owners so far. Is this the way to communicate with your customers, Paradox?

It's taking longer than we hoped, but we're still investigating this!

Will report back as soon as we have a concrete answer!

Hi, I'm not getting the DLC I was supposed to get as compensation for the beach properties in the library. I bought the collector's edition as a pre-order, which included the dlc set along with beach properties - which was later free. I therefore expected to be entitled to this as well.
@Cities: Skylines Official Can we please get some info on not getting the DLC in our libs?

@Rafko99 and @saladuit, could you both give us more info on what version of the game you both have so that we can get to the bottom of this?
