Hello @Lewis1902

Thank you for your report, however I have noticed that the savegame was made on modded version of the game. For now I will set this thread to As Designed, however I will not lock it - if the issue occurs on a playthrough where no mods were used, please add new comment with info and a save.

Thank you for your time and have a great day!

Hi, thank you for answer.

If I can give a bit more details :
It was modded before the update with The "show more traits" mod, a mod I used for almost 2 years and never had a single problem with every patch versions. I removed the mod to see if it impacts game, and it doesn't. I can just play and run the game excepting when doing my Legacy management that crashes game.
My other saves werent impacted by the removal of that mod.
My actual big problem here is the Memorycrash when i access the Influence Candidature button on my heir. an Admin feature that doesn't interact with the mod there was. My empire is huge, it's just not loading the screen, probably due to the huge list it can't show.
I could understand that maybe my mod impacted the Estate bug(I accepted to continue without it) but it can't explain the memory crash when pressing Influence Candidature. I can do everything else except that.
I'm not too happy of that simple answer : "it was moded so it's not our problem". I just won't play the game anymore if I m not sure the mid to lategame stability in huge realms/dynasty is addressed cause its what I like to do in this game.

Have a great day.

Hi again @Lewis1902 ,

After your latest post I consulted other QA members on what could be done in this situation. While technically we still cannot provide full support for issues with modded playthrougs (it is because mods can have most unforeseen consequences and often interact with areas of the game you would not expect them to); what I can do is to try to test this issue on our side, on Monday. With unmodded save from your side it would just be more reliable and related to your specific problem.

The good thing is that the very similar issues to the ones you mention are also reported on unmodded games. While there is no certainty (because of the reasons I mention above), there is a chance that fixes for those will help you too.

Thank you again for your answer.
I think you understood my problem with the different issues and the stability one in particular. I hope you can address the overall Stability of the game so we can enjoy doing very long campaigns with some crazy selfmadegoals.
I hope future fixes might help me.
Again, have a good afternoon.

I have a world conquest Roman Empire, administrative (every single count level and above, and all but 200 barons are administrative). I don't even bother with influencing succession as I have to wait a minute or 2 for the influence window to open.
You might be running out of memory with large administrative empires. I actually use a mod myself to cull pops, otherwise in late game with huge empires, performance is non-existent.
I really wish this was optimised, because playing as large admin realms is neigh impossible.

The estate disappearing from old saves is a known bug..

This is what I'm doing in that save, RomanWC with a lot cultureMix to unlock all the Dynasty Points/Best HeavyCavculture Bonuses, I have accumulated the Fate of Iberia, Iran Fate bonuses, have 24 Legendary Towers. I just needed 40 to 50 years to finish coloring map, then I was planning to finish the Oneculture/Onefaith. Influence Candidature was the only feature i really needed to do the OnecultureWC to make sure that I don't have wrongculture promoted governors. Currently I have 445 direct vassals and the admin limit I have is 615 direct vassals(largely enough to create the remaining provinces).
