Let's hear it! What is the most dystopian outcome for EU V that you can imagine? This thread is not intended to be serious, it is so that we can one day look at however the game releases one day and reflect that maybe, life could be worse, and we should be happy that it is Paradox, and not EA, that make these games.

I'll go first:

On game release, you can only play as Theodoro but EU V releases with a battle pass that you can only get with the DLC subscription. Each step in the battle pass unlocks a new tag to play as, but what is the catch you say? Well, you need to world conquest with the previous country in the battle pass (starting with Theodoro), with ironman and no mods, to unlock the next step.

Remember, the battle passes reset every month, so if you fail to world conquest 30 times for each day of the month, you lose access to a tag, forever.

You can unlock tags through another method though, namely, lootboxes. For 20 euros, you can spin a giant wheel that unlocks one country, an advance (of course this is the only way to get advances in the game), or an insult (not one you can use, but one used against you for partaking in this game.), the wheel implies that you have an equal chance of getting a country, an advance, and an insult, but in reality, like how the lottery is an illusion in 1984, you have no chance of getting a tag or an advance from a lootbox. There is of course, only three exceptions, one, you are a youtuber showing off the lootboxes to reel people in, two, you get one tag after spending exactly 1337 euros in the game on lootboxes, and thirdly, if you are from Sweden.

However, it doesn't stop here, the game is online access only, and anyone can join your game at any time, and use the tags they have obtained from lootboxes or the battle pass to crush you.

Eventually, of course, someone somehow unlocks all of the tags (Florryworry probably) but the moment this happens, the game becomes completely inaccessible, and EU VI is released, which is exactly the same game, but designed in such a way that any modder will have to start from nothing.

The name of "the-country-that-controls-Constantinople-in-1337" is exactly the opposite of what you want it to be (they figure out your opinion through your posts on that thread).

I feel like this is heavily skewed in my favour :p

I can give my Swedish lootbox privilege to someone who for some strange reason does not wish to play as the last remnant of the glorious Goths! ;)
