I've just bought from Amazon UK - Crusader Kings complete, Victoria complete, and Europa Universalis 3 complete but only EU3 has a key to get a hat. It's not so much the hat as the presumption of banditry if you don't have it. And this is my first post, which is not a very promising start is it?

We earn our money and part with it in good faith, hoping to get a good product from a good company(which includes good support, hopefully --imagine if toyota/ford or Microsoft for that matter, did not offer aftersales service). The issue you are talking about extends to their lack of effort with manuals and finishing of games in general. Many of the Paradox releases I've played have had to be "fixed" by modders/gamers to make them playable!!!
Its sad, because Paradox make games that are FANTSTIC in concept and playability(I always dreamed of games like the ones they make!)...yet it seems their finishing and support always let them down.
It feels like they come up with a great idea, slap it together into a working form and flippantly toss it out the back door for us to squabble over in the back yard that is the download portal, like so many despised and undervalued mongrel dogs. "There! Have that!"

Me too! Complete CK of Amazon.co.uk(I like a box+CD, i'm old fashioned like that) and would like to register, but as has been said; if there are no penalties for not being able to register then i'm fine with that.

Well I bought Ck Complete too and have no key to register it is possible to send me one when I sent you a copy of the receipt well have the same problem with hoi anthology second edition
I bought CK and DV separately from Impulse, and the DV key on there is too long to register on here, which is a mild shame.
So, uhm, I'll be buying CK off GamersGate, and as I understand from this thread, I won't be able to register the Complete pack here.

I believe so if it's the same as how Victoria and Victoria:Revolutions are set up. Not that there is any penalty whatsoever for not registering either game in terms of using the games' boards in the part of the forum.

If you buy DV on Gamersgate then you can definitely register it

If you buy the Complete Pack in a boxed version then there is no cd-key. Only if you buy at Gamersgate (so a downloadable version) you get a cd-key.
The Complete Pack on CD wasn't distributed by Paradox but by some local distributors in England and Scandinavia.
