Yes, it is meant to be scary. However don't freak out now. I still haven't brought up any of the truly "horrifying" stuff. ;)

Perhaps I should change his name to Tom so as to fit more with the source I got the name Jerry from. :p

Ooh...RE5.
I'm doing a round two of RE4, and having the advanced guns makes it really, REALLY easy. :(

advanced guns? I used the unlimited ammo RPG, hahaha. :p

In case you are wondering why the garden scene is back, it is because I'm resorting my old work, plus I made this the end of chapter 8. I incorporated what I have for chapter 9 into chapter 8. So anyways, this small update contains some old work plus some more and a new image. btw, another update should be coming soon.

“Hey! Wake up! Something’s not right!”

It was near the middle of the nights, and the soldiers who were sleeping in their barracks were abruptly woken. While trying to shield their eyes from the light of the lamps carried by their comrades who bursted in and awoken them, the still sleepy soldiers themselves noticed there was something wrong, horribly wrong, in the camps.

The soldiers struggled to get themselves dressed, trying to put their shirt on and pull up their trousers as fast they could. Grabbing their stacked rifles, the men scrambled outside. What awaited them was absolute horror.

A woman was attacking a fellow soldier, or devouring, if that is a better word. When she was finished the victim had nothing left between his head and his torso. The woman looked up, and after seeing the soldiers who were just out of their barracks, gave them the nastiest look with her glowing red eyes.

"Rargghhhh..." the woman let out a terrifying hiss.

The soldiers looked around, and noticed that there were more eyes, dozens of them, of the same color as the woman, staring at them in the dark. Soon after there were faces, or what was left of human faces, visible after being illuminated by the burning flames of the camp.

Garden2.jpg

It was a garden, a sacred underground garden lit by light from the night sky through giant cracks in a huge underground chamber. Countless bright red flowers were blooming under the silvery moonlight. The flowers were releasing clouds of unknown particles of the same colour as the flowers into the air, creating a crimson mist above them. However, moments after their release, the reddish particles burst into fire, and the whole crimson mist became a cloud of fire flaring brightly in the darkness of the underground chamber.

(Mysterious Flower?)

A woman was among the flower garden. A woman in white with the most beautiful looks. As she dance among the cloud of fire, the white linen she was dressed in caught fire. The woman’s most tender white skin was also seen to be burning.

Strangely, the woman appeared to be in no pain at all, and continued her exotic dance of fire as if she was bathing in the flames. Her whole body, with nothing left to cover, appeared to be burning in the cloud of fire.

“Kallikrates, will you join me with my bath in the fire?” asked the woman of white cheerfully at a man in the shadows.

(Someone like this, I suppose. ;) But please remove the purse with your own imagination)

The man lifted his hat of his and stepped out of the darkness whilst holding a syringe. The syringe contained some liquid with the same colour as the crimson flowers inside it.

“Yes, just in a moment, my little naughty queen Ayesha, but do call me Jack if you please,” said Jack as he examined the liquid in the syringe gleefully under the light, before he turned to his manservent Brutus. The beast’s bloodish eyes glowed in a dark corner as a Zulu warrior was being devoured.

Surely this woman cannot be as deadly as this kitty! :p

True, but I didn't have the Typewrite/Infinite Launcher at the start - I got the Typewriter at the robo-Salazar area and the Launcher just before the Saddler fight. :D

Interesting events going on, however.

If general Mercier's experiments have reached South Africa, we are in a big mess...

i know i make fun of a lot of pictures on here (which i feel bad for, as i love this aar and it's use of pictures and references to other films and games and stuff - i only make fun because thats the kind of person i am) but i have to point out that in addition to the purse, is that lady not also talking on her mobile?

Trying playing a whole round of RE4 with nothing but the RPG (and knife), it's fun. :p

One thing that you should know that it is Jack's experiments that is actually taking place. Although you can assume Mercier is behind all this since he is Jack's "employer". ;)

*tries to use imagination, removes something else instead of the purse...*

Hoho.
Jack has fun.

Enewald, you wouldn't want to see her clothes gone. The one time that she did in RE5, things went bad. ;) Just search "Excella boss fight" on youtube and you can find something about it.

Well, i can only say that I'm placing my bet on that mobile is a Nokia. I think me have Enewald on my side for this. :p

Clothes, lol...
I wanted the phone.

Well, frankly I want the gold she has. :p

Ok, folks, here's the update, a bit short though. :eek:o
BTW, I should remind people that this AAR will start to resemble a horror movie in some places now more than ever. ;)

PlaceHolder, this update is still subject to minor changes

Chapter IX

Rommel could not sleep. It had nothing to do with the hard bed or the snoring Churchill, but rather something that has to do with his instincts as a Legionnaire. He could feel something wrong, horribly wrong, coming directly into his path.

Suddenly loud footsteps can be heard coming from the stairs and ended at the door of his room. Loud bangs on the door immediately followed.

“Here we go…” thought Rommel.

“Wake up the two of you! We have some problems, terrible ones, at the camps.” Mata Hari bursted through the door and promptly cried out. Awake, Rommel was not surprised, but Churchill instantly fell off his bed.

“What? What time is it? What’s wrong?” asked Churchill as he looked around with a sleepy head.

“Monsieur Churchill, the camps, I have heard that there’s something awfully wrong going on there. We got to get there as quick as possible! The three of us must be there to provide whatever help needed!”

“The camps? Ohh… then let’s leave at this very instant!” said Churchill as he looked around a bit embarrassed for his trousers.

“Monsieur Churchill, it will be better for you to remain here,” said Rommel quietly.

“Monsieur Rommel, why? Why are you leaving out of this?”

“To be honest with you, Monsieur Churchill, I do not wish to care for someone who cannot even walk very well. I hope you are not offended by my words.”

“Hey! Hey! Hey! I may not be some kind of a walker now but I certainly can be a rider!” exclaimed Churchill unhappily.

Rommel stopped in his steps and thought deeply, before opening his mouth once again.

“Do watch for yourself, Monsieur Churchill,” said Rommel without turning his head back.

After a short while, the trio was out of town and rode as fast as their horses could possibly carry them. As they approach the site of the camp, they could see the night sky lit up brightly by the fire. As they got even closer, the screams of the still-alives and the smell of burning cloth and human tissue worsen.

“Monsieur Rommel, what’s our plan except for getting ourselves into this trouble?” asked Churchill.

“Our priority is to get as many survivors as possible to safety, and to fight off whatever forces that might be causing this,” said Rommel as he began to rode into the chaos of the camps.

“Monsieur Rommel, you do forget about another one of our priorities,” said Mata Hari suddenly.

“What is it?” asked Rommel.

“It is to stay alive, so that we may all return to whoever that might be awaiting us to return to them.”

Rommel thought about Mata Hari words slowly. Someone’s figure appeared inside his mind. A small figure with a worried look on her face.

“I shall remember your words,” said Rommel as he rode off.

…

Rommel had gone back and forth from safety to the camps several times. The trio had spread out to help as much survivors in need of help as possible. It appeared that most of the refugees in the camp got out fairly quickly. However a few of them were trapped by the fire started by some unknown reasons, and it took Rommel considerable effort just to reach them.

“I hope these are the last,” thought Rommel as he let two more girls he had saved off his horse. Saving people wasn’t something he was used to before, but it became something that was forced into his life somehow. After unloading the two girls, Rommel went back into the flames once again.

Rommel looked around as he rode through the flames. It was becoming more and more difficult to navigate between the flames. It was a relief that the horse he had was well tamed and did not fear the flames as one normally would.

Suddenly, a woman in rags was standing in Rommel’s path. Her head was down and her hair hid her face. As she slowly lifted her head up, two ruby-like eyes gave Rommel the most horrifying look yet he had ever seen. Behind her were multiple severely mutilated corpses of British soldiers, some even unrecognizable as their face was literally torn out.

“Rargghhhh...” the woman let out a terrifying hiss. A hiss that was too bone chilling.

Rommel then noticed something emerging out of the woman’s mouth. A wriggling mass that spread out like a flower of death, with small sharp fangs lining every square centimetre of the pedals. The woman then charged straight for Rommel.

Rommel instinctively drew his shotgun, and without hesitation fired at the woman’s head. A well place shot completely blasted the woman’s “head” away. Rommel then bashed the headless body away with the butt of his gun.

Strangely, despite without a head, the body still remained standing.

Suddenly something even more unexpected happened. Something started to emerge from the neck, something of a grostesque nature emerged. The previous “flower” was replaced by a long “whip” ending with a large blade while being lined with spikes of bone covered by bits of flesh.

majini.jpg

(Something like this. Yes, BritishImperial that's a male, but I can't find a pic that is a female.)

With incredible speed, the woman, if she is still one, charged at Rommel once again and lashed out its “whip”.

Rommel once again fired his shotgun, but he was caught off guard by the unconventional attack and the shot missed. With one powerful swipe, the woman, or creature, decapitated Rommel’s horse, and knocked Rommel down in the process.

Rommel quickly got back onto his feet and looked around him. The fire had spread enough to block out his way of retreat, as if pitting him onto an arena for a lethal duel against the creature.

If I were Rommel, after this adventure I would go to the Tibet and hide in the most forgotten cave.

Nah, as I said before, the worse has yet to happen. Although Rommel will sure be allowed a brief rest after this adventure in Africa. ;)

Papua New Guinea would be better than Tibet.
Maybe the one in picture is hermaphrodite?

What? why Papua New Guinea?

Someone needs a Flash Grenade...:D

Someone needs a Flash Grenade...:D

I think flash grenades doesn't exist back then. Anyways if flash grenades do exist I won't make light a weakness for the creatures.

...

Small annoucement, I may still put stuff in chapter 9 back to chapter 8. So the current chapter we are on is actually unclear. Btw it's the 500th post of this AAR! Should try to celebrate it somehow. :D Suggestions?
