Congrats TT and EUROO7,

All right, let's summarise what happen.

- Jonti: We were supposed to hunt Slinky that night, but because Hax was almost dead I switched the hunt to you as I was quite sure you would go for my throat in case Hax showed himself to be a wolf. It was just logical hunt.

- TT / EUROO7: I was supposed to hunt EUROO7 last night, so it would be me, TT and Slinky left. There I was quite sure I would win. punkbob switched the hunt to Slinky. I told him to switch and he sent me a PM there he claimed that he had switched the hunt backt to EUROO7, which he apparantly hadn't done.

- Night before last: I could maybe have saved punkbob, but I was too afraid that he hadn't sent in a huntorder so I panicked and sent in a huntorder instead of saving him. Sadly the huntorder was made the same second as TT made his vote and was therefore not counted. Which made the whole thing a waste.

- Neither Nautilu or EUROO7 told us whom was the seer but I hunted him as he was the apparant seer. Was not completly sure and thought that EUROO7 had a 30% chance to be the seer, but decided it was safer to go with Jens. Would maybe have hunted Jens the first day instead of punkbob but decided that it would be safer to go with punkbob first.

- Hax: I tried to tell Hax to get more active, which he didn't. The only longer post that he posted in this thread I had written myself.

Cxxix?

No, sorry. If I had to choose between you and Slinky, at least at some point after the fourth round, there was no way you were gonna win. I'd have to miss your unvote of Hax again (which I noticed only after the fifth round anyway), and dismiss Slinky's vote. I may have been frequently confused and seeing wolves everywhere, but once it was narrowed down to someone who unvoted at least two wolves vs. someone who voted a wolf early and kept it, the numbers would make it impossible for me to vote Slinky.

Your only hope of victory was to defend Hax to the death and hope the rest of us missed it until it was too late to keep you from muscling a victory, or placing all your eggs with punkbob. When Olaus kept his vote on Steed and almost got them both lynched in the first, I figured Steed was in the clear. I know Olaus "hates" Steed, but I thought that was goin' a little far. Apparently I had completely forgotten how...unconventional...Olaus can be at times. :p

I gave Hax a lot of leeway in this game given his newbie status and my prior experience with Cappy and other noobs. Too much.

Either Slinky would vote you or else I could just inform you again that Slinky was the one that unvoted Hax first and convinced me to unvote Hax. ;)

Slinky was very stubborn in saving Hax while I was not.

I am quite sure that in a stack with you, Slinky and me I would win.

Slinky was sure I was a villager and also had a worse pattern than I had.

The only one I was sure I couldn't lynch was EUROO7, which gave me quite a panic when punkbob PM me that he had switched my huntorder.

Yes, I noticed how Slinky (seemingly) convinced you switch off, but you had shown yourself willing to unvote anyone you voted, so that didn't mean much; you probably switched votes more than Euro. Slinky's vote for Hax in the fourth went a long way towards clearing him in my eyes, hence why I backed off of him and started after you. It was kinda dumb of me to then completely ignore you instead of re-stating my case, but after I tried to "save" Hax, I figured that would be too much to ask the village to go along with me. I was looking for people who went well with you and the known wolves, which led me right to Phil, and (bizarrely, in retrospect) human. Shoulda gone one at a time and focused on you, instead of going after them both and seeing which one you voted for. When you went human, that made me doubly suspicious of you and Phil.

But again, after Slinky's vote in the fourth, there was no way I'd side with you over him. I figured the pack was probably you + Phil, you + human, or maybe even you + Slinky. I had to get Phil out of the way.

I must say that I was bit disapointed to few things.

@GM & Seer: Thanks a lot for not giving me a fair chance after long absence. When I did read my role from PM, I knew that I would live two days at most.

@Steed: Incredible luck you got. I outed you and told openly that you're a wolf in post 163 and they don't kill or scan you because of that. It was bit of anticlimax that you got subbed out.

@Skarion: You adviced that also I should use invisibility mode, but I won't do such thing, because I don't wish to hide when I'm on-line and think that invisibility mode is bit of cheating. When I'm online my character is in the village and not hiding in the shadows. It's all right to give information that I'm around to make a votesnipe etc.

But I wasn't happy about using punkbob's PMing against him in the game. Steedbob played well and old roleplayer* cries blood when he sees such action against him. It robbed your victory and it's like spying another player's secret notes to GM in pen and paper game and using that information, which your character can't possibly know to advance your own goals. I rather lose than use information my character can't know, for example dead wolf once accidentally revealed sensitive game information to me and I didn't use it against the last wolf. I kept my vote where it was and lost that game.

*I played Dark Heresy yesterday and it was first time in years when I played pen and paper RPG. I enjoyed it a lot.

Sorry about scanning you and having you outed the first day Olaus, but I did what I had to do to survive and not get lynched myself the first day.

I just read this front to back. Quite excellent for everyone involved. It would have been better had I played, but it was very good for a AOKless game.

Good play by pretty much everyone. Good work, punkbob especially. You diserved a win here. Do not worry though, as Werewolf tends to even things out. For every game I should have won, I always win one that I should not have. The Werewolf Gods will reward you at some point. Well played. :)

Thanks. I look forward to that easy win. And lets hope that people stop peeking at others profiles in the near future.:p

Uhm, wasn't your secret scanning method to look at the GM's profile. ;)

I went on invis mode almost two years ago, and I wasn't the first to do so. What's taking you so long? :)

I never thought to try that one before. Can you see who he's PMing?

No. You can see who has visited his profile recently. I showed it to the world, and abandoned it due to the gaminess of the system, and how it seemed ungentlemanly. Almost like something Euro would do.

As for the invis part, if you want to be a coward, then so be it. :p
