vote okyriosy

We can try a triple tie! :D

Seriously, there is no case against anybody as I see (maybe against Paen, but that seems mindless bandwagoning), and I will change my vote if even a convincing theory comes up, but I think mindless bandwagons (that formed against Split and Paen) are bad.

Okydiosy okyriosy! You can't possibly have a drunkard try to resist this.

Paen isn't mindless bandwagonning. He's been up in the votes twice and been spared. On both occasions, you, Lord D, and Xeno (and technically sbr) all voted for the other guy instead of for Paen, and now it seems you're defending him again. If he's part of the terrorist pack, we could learn a lot by lynching him. However, we have a JL now, so it's their call what we should do.

And now Lord D's defending Paen again....

I find myself recalling Euro's earlier remark on the jonti-hunting pack's potential noobfulness.

Yesterday, I did not vote for "the other guy", I voted someone random. And Paen wouldn't have been spared by me, he would have been lynched if not for Slinky, remember, it was a tie (which I did not break, although I could have if I wanted Paen to live). So if he turns out to be a wolf, you should look at Slinky who actively saved him from lynching. Yes, he did grab a cultist, but it very well could have been a coincidence, if Paen is a terrorist wolf. If Slinky is with the terrorists, he would not care (and not know!) if the random guy he chose to lynch instead of his packmate/master/whatever is the cultist of the enemy pack.

Hmmpf, if I wanted to take over this plane, I would have done so already. I am the captain after all, I am already flying the darn thing. :p

If Slinky wanted to tie himself to Paen irrevocably, maybe. But if he was a baddie with a Leader trait, I think he'd be more likely to go after a JLer or to a known member of the other pack (since the rules state that Leaders lose their power if they kill a goodie).

This was the vote with 3 1/2 hours left on the first day:

humanC [4]: sbr (228), jonti (237), Hax (239), Kriszo (241)
Paendrag [4]: JPas (219), OrangeY (225), JustA (233), PhilleP (246)
PhilleP [3]: Paen (218), humanC (227), LordD (240)
mutt [2]: Jester (229), Freeman (235)
Jingles [2]: TT (232), Slinky (243)
Jens [2]: Naut (226), LordStr (245)
sbr [1]: Xeno (213),
Hell [1]: EURO (217)
Hax [1]: johho (220)
EURO [1]: Hell (221)
TT [1]: Jingles (230)
LordStr [1]: Teep (231)
Jester [1]: mutt (234)
justA [1]: hdk (236)
OrangeY [1]: Jens (244)

non-voters: Ahura Mazda, Avernite, okyriosy, THE_SPLIT

Paen has four votes on him: Two hijackers, a hunter, and a Witness who outed a hijacker wolf. You and Lord D voted back-to-back, each for one of his closest competitors. Paen was up 3-2-2, but you two put two people into a tie with him. Again, back-to-back.

At the end of the first day, the vote count stood thus:

human [6]: sbr, jonti, Hax, Kriszo, Avernite, Xeno
Paen [4]: JPass, Orange, JustA, Phille
Phille [4]: Paen, human, LordD, EURO
mutt [3]: Jester, Free, Ahura
Jingles [2]: TT, Slinky
Jens [2]: Naut, LordStr
sbr [1]: okyriosy
Hax [1]: johho
EURO [1]: Hell
TT [1]: Jingles
LordStr [1]: Teep
Jester [1]: mutt
JustA [1]: hdk
Orange [1]: Jens
Teep [1]: Split

Both of you kept your votes where they were, with Xeno popping in at the end to cast the final vote and kill goodie humancalculator while sparing Paen and Phil. Sbr's vote is also still on humancalculator.

Cut to yesterday, a few hours before the deadline:

Avernite [3]: TT (702), LordD (707), Jester (713)
Paen [3]: JPass (700), split (703), Just (715)
Jester180 [2]: sbr (696), Paen (712)
okyriosy [1]: Kriszo (677)
Xeno [1]: Slinky (678)

non-voters: Ahura Mazda (missed 1 vote), Avernite, Hellvink, johho888, muttoneer, okyriosy (missed 1 vot), sbr, XenomorphII

Again, with Paen up, Lord D's vote is on Avernite, sbr's on Jester, and yours on okyriosy.

However, later in the day:

Avernite [6]: TT, LordD, Jester, Hellvink, okyriosy, Paen
Paen [6]: JPass, split, JustA, Avernite, Xeno, johho
Jester [1]: sbr
okyriosy [1]: Kriszo
Xeno [1]: Slinky
mutt [1]: mutt
non-voters: Ahura[/QUOTE]

Xeno puts a key vote on Paen. That makes him a little less suspicious as a Paen connection. Sbr and you also avoid the vote, but I can't vouch for your activity at the deadline. Lord D stays the course.

Unless the JL has something on Paen, I think there's enough suspicion surrounding him and the people who voted him that I'd like to check up on him. He goes extremely well with Lord D, who cast two key votes for Paen's competition and is defending him again today, and potentially saving actions from Kriszo, sbr, and Xeno at one point or another. He may be a goodie, and if he is it's too bad he ended up in this spot, but given what we could learn about him if he's revealed to be a terrorist, as well as having likely packmates, I'd want to find out what he is. If the JL has reason to want him alive (or has something on someone else), I'll back off, but even that would give us some much-needed information about him and allow us to focus on other suspects.

UNVOTE Paen
VOTE okyriosy

I am thinking that between these two the latter is maybe a better lynch, but it is only a gut feeling and I will happily change my vote if somebody comes up with something more solid.

I like Thistletooth's analysis. However Paendrag has gotten a lot of attention already so I am going with someone else.

Vote Lord_D

Okyriosy? Why him?

Well, it seems to me that the two terrorists we know did not place any important votes which changed or even affected who would be lynched.
They never really seemed to save anyone.

This leads me to believe that it is more likely for the terrorist wolves to be people who have not really been contenders for being lynched.

Mostly it is just a gut feeling though.

That did occur to me, but first day votes seem to be the most difficult to explain as part of a pattern. And the bandwagon against him, which seemed to come out of nowhere, makes me doubt his baddieness.

long text
I don't know about Xeno, sbr and whoever of your other accused ones, I'm only defending myself. (It is still unnecessary if Paen is a goodie, but I tend to prepare for the worst, and I'm absolutely not convinced that Paen is not a baddie)
Your accusations against me:
Day 1 (!!) voting analysis. Yes indeed my vote did count towards saving Paen, but it was random coincidence, I always vote random on day 1
Yesterdays VA. If you look at it, it it were for me, I could have saved Paen from the tie, which I didn't!
Today I "defended" Paen. What the...? I merely opposed bandwagoning, either against Paen, or Split.

So in the end, you accuse me beacouse on day 1 I voted someone randomly, ant that today I opposed bandwagoning?
That is not a case, I'm sorry. You could be the wolf just as easily. And for this (and for saving okyriosy from the bandwagoning which looks like started as well):
unvote okyriosy, vote TT

Vote Lord_D

I'd like to see a Paen/Lord D tie. And I'll ask for the okyriosy voters to kindly explain their choice of lynch victim while also decrying random bandwagons.

Vote Lord D

This seems like a good idea, lets run them up a little :)
I voted okyriosy and I said I would change that vote so here goes.

Unvote Okythingamajig

Unofficial vote count with c.1 hour to go

Paen [3]: J.Pass (767), Split (773), mutt (774)
Split [3]: sbr (764), Paen (777), Jester (779)
Lord D [3]: Slinky (788), Thistle (793), Hell (771 okyriosy --> 794),
okyriosy [2]: Lord D (781), Xeno (752 Paen --> 786)
Thistle [1]: Kriszo (780 okyriosy --> 792)

No votes: johho, Ahura (missed two votes), okyriosy (missed one vote)

I'm gone now, if anyone wants to break the tie they're free to go ahead.

Can I make a suggestion in the name of Lemeard?

Que?
